In this case, the driver is clearly at fault. You can see the green walk signal at about 0:10. But most of the time, students jaywalk and cross streets without regard to oncoming traffic. To those students, I say they get what's coming to them.

But this guy I feel sorry for because he was actually observing the rules and still got hit.

@mac6706 I just moved from Tuscaloosa and unless they've changed something within the past 2-3 months, those crosswalks are ridiculously timed. If you blink you'll miss the walk sign entirely. It's like an extreme sport just trying to cross the road there!
