For those saying that bjj doesn't work in a real fight...check out ufc 1 or look up ultimate Gracie...wen ufc had no rules...bjj won everything..there were no rules becuz ufc was made to show which martial art was more effective in a real fight
BJJ would normally win when fighting under rules, but JJJ train realistically for self defence reasons, so with a fight in the street with no rules JJJ would almost always win
@00scuff00 i dont think so... if it cant win with limited rules (i.e MMA or Submission Grappling rules) why will it fare so much better in a real fight? People just say that cuz they're scared the new styles and want to feel safe...
@JKT6 THERE ARE NO RULES IN REAL FIGHTING. UFC, BJJ, SUBMISSION GRAPPLING AND MMA ARE VERY CONFUSED PEOPLE. WHY WOULD YOU INCLUDE RULES IN REAL FIGHTING. ALL THOSE MENTIONED GO TO THE FLOOR AND I WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU GO TO THE FLOOR AGAINST TWO OR MORE ATTACKERS. ...... WHAT WOULD YOU DO? ASK THE ATTACKERS TO PLAY BY THE RULES?
@00scuff00 YOU ARE CONFUSED WITH A SPORT AND THE REAL THING.....
@ProsperityGlobal You too are ver confused there are no rules in real fighting . Why include rules, have you heard of an attack where the attcker plays by the rule such as in MMA UFC BJJ? Get a life and choose a REAL martial art.

@slouttop So your logic:
1. No rules in real fighting. True
so this proves...
2. BJJ sucks in street fights and...
3. Traditional Jiu-jitsu wins! Yay!
Logic fail...
