  • Nice vids

  • where is episode 6?

  • Cool. You can actually get a lot smaller detector/emitter pairs, which may help you to get even better resolution on the encoder.

  • i keep looking for the final video. but cant find it

  • is there anything you can't build?

  • ??????????? that is pritty asome to say the least but at this point you should probeobly re name the video how to make a complex simulator HAHAHAHAHA

  • yeah I know, it's not the easiest thing to build! But at least I'll try to keep things relatively cheap and easy to get, except for the transponder, that I have to internet order!

  • so where can i get that from los angeles please tell me how

  • Excellent! I enjoy watching your videos every time! Keep them comming!

    Regards, Thanos

  • Thanks Thanos,

Counting pulses and the motor controller is looming on the horizon! That'll be getting into the meat of things. For a real encoder it was suggested I have a look at the AS5040 or the GH3071-ND. Both cheap and readily bought online.

  • amazing guy !!!

  • Ahh, a shed, a great collection of tools and some salvaged gear. What more could anyone want!

Great work on the video and explanation.

    Thanks.

  • Thanks philbx1, I'm enjoying the journey, and dreading the post blues that comes at the end! The upside is I can then go on to creating 3D environments to drive the simulator ..ontop of mucking around using off the shelf games like LFS!
