how to cut sprites out of a sprite page

I hate sprite sheets that don't have an empty background saved as .PNG.

.GIF and .JPEG are just too time consuming to cut out.

There is Acllualy a faster way to dut sprites, First Cover it with a rectangle and Menu click and click save as

It will save the Thing thats inside of the Rectangle

yeah, any computer works, as long as you have some sort of paint program such as "Gimp" "paint" and any other one. even "game maker"
