Stone Temple Pilots is among the most under-rated bands. The 90's altogether was a checkpoint era in music.. Wicked Garden is such a moving piece of music, I envision dark cloudy storms on the path to a revival when I hear this tune. Love it. Too much disposable music these days.

Scott was doing his "psycho killer" schtick on this album - playing the angry crazy man who is going to make his girlfriend worthy by destroying her - "I'm going to burn you alive, out of the chains that bind you" is one line, and the whole "Creep" thing about waiting until tomorrow for "the dogs to find her" - he's killed her, and he's dumped her body out there somewhere - in later albums Scott expressed his sometime antipathy toward women in more conventional terms - yah, that's why I like STP
