It's not all that hard, really.
I (yes, that's me in the video) took a propane tank, added a tank fitting, a ball valve, and some tubing, and put the end of the tubing through the bell. There's a little area when opening the valve where the gas just trickles out. I light the little flame, point it away, then open it up all the way.
Trumpet + propane = fun

Video camera got messed up. About half of everything we recorded got messed up. I scavenged what I could, might be able to get a few more songs out of it if I can.

also, i loved playing at the ballpark. for the most part the fans were great and everybody (well, maybe not the FSU fans) had a wonderful time!

Ferris's Band was smaller in size and volume, but they were by FAR one of the most fun bands I've ever had the pleasure of working with! It was nice to meet other bandies whom enjoy being a bit out of the ordinary weather it be insanity or just plain ADD.
