  • So true life in NYC lol

  • Joe Pesci is one of the greatest actors of all time. remember him in Lethal Weapon 2. he played the total opposite of Tommy DeVito. He deserved that award for GoodFellas.

  • @Mattsinfuse321 Whole thing revolves around the "Go get your fucking shinebox" comment and Pesci's reaction.

  • Drinks are on ...The House! - De Niro makes simple lines sound so awesome.

  • Is this the greatest ganster scene ever filmed?

    I think so

  • phil leotardo

  • @pakitorockstile No, this came before The Sopranos. Sorry little guy

  • I know that this doesn't mean anything but I like how Martin Scorsese has Billy, his two friends and a woman on one side! Then with Tommy, his two friends (including Jimmy) and his woman on the other side! Henry is standing in the middle of the whole thing and then shit hits the fan between Billy and Tommy! Great scene! I love this movie!

  • hahaha. at 3:23 Frank Vincent said i fucked kids like that in the can in the ass. in never realized that. lmao

  • 4:05 lol Jimmys 4 kicks on Batts with tongue in cheek need to get an oscar. Hilarious and retarded at the same time

  • Looks like a good life but it isn't.

  • The acting in this movie is amazing

  • @thegodshills DeNiro was great in this scene, "Now, now now, you insulted him a little bit. You got a little out of line yourself." Just the way he said it was hilarious.

  • Phil Leotardo got shot in the head and run over by a SUV. What the hell is this? Some alternate Sopranos ending???

  • @MyNephewIsTough Please shut up you unfunny retard

  • @mrfalafl Well, you shut up, your breath is bad!! This IS an alternate ending on the 6th season of The Sopranos, a guy told me so.

  • @TRIPLOC714OC Joe Pesci would be a awesome Don!!

  • Seeing De Niro in a supporting role is very interesting

  • @terratrema ya

  • the guy playing Billy also got whacked pretty grotesquely in the Sopranos.

  • you insulted him a little bit LOL

  • What is the song that starts playing at 3:33?

  • @xxJoeDog93xx Atlantis by Donovan

  • love de niro when he says " no,no, no you insulted him a little bit..."

  • Is Batts died?

  • My father met a woman in Patterson, NJ right after he returned to the USA from WWII. He married the woman and they had a girl, circa '46/'47. Well, they got divorced, and my dad moved back to Ohio. He then married again and had another family, five kids, including me. We never knew about my sister till dad passed. Anyway, we look her up. It is like Oprah stuff. She flies us out there. She has married an Italian man from Polmero, Sicily. He was made, still alive, old. It was crazy.

  • @JayGatsbyOdysseus what family is he with if you can say?

  • @xxJoeDog93xx I don't know. This was around '93 when we made the visit. It was shortly after Al Quida tried the first time to bomb the World Trade Centers. I remember this, walking past the Towers. Then, we went to Little Italy and it everyone knew this man. We were treated like royalty. I think he is dead now. He spoke little English. I remember once we were at dinner in his and my half sister's house. The assistant district attorney for NJ came to eat. I couldn't believe this.

  • I call people "motherfucking muts" on xbox live all the time.

  • I love the pigeons from Animaniacs.

  • what happened with the gun, did it break or something? this has been bugging me for ages, can someone please tell me?? much appreciated :D

  • @CocaColaSloth Jimmy forces Tommy's arm to one side just as Tommy is about to fire (for obvious reasons: noise/mess that would have been made). The gun slips out of Tommy's hand and the cylinder and shells come out of the gun when it impacts with the floor.

  • "so what didja hear about that thing?"

    what thing, that brooklyn thing?

"no, no, no, the guy from downtown."

  • That Part Where Ray Liotta Locks The Door Is Just Like When DiCaprio Locks The Door In The Departed. (I Know, Same Director) Just Sayin

  • was da madda wi u

  • HAHA THIS IS ON VH1 RIGHT NOW 8:26:43

  • now go get your fucking shine box

  • What is the song at the end? It was also on "the girl next door". Who sings this song?

  • @jward115599 Atlantis by Donovan

  • @4:05 DENIRO's HELICOPTER HAND MOVEMENT :D

  • 3:11 Robert De Niro's 'I'm gonna fuck you up later' expression.

  • the crystals - he´s sure the boy i love

  • whats right is right

  • Song at the biggining?

  • that was the biggest mistake that Tommy did, by killing a Made Man of the Gambino Crime Family, that will come back to hunt him resulting his death, NEVER FUCK WITH THE GAMBINO'S CAPOREGIMES.

  • i actually read that in real life all billy batts was asking tommy was "do you still shine shoes?" which he found offensive..... talk about being unlucky XD

  • old movies ... incisive..

  • COME ON !

    YOU FUCKING FEEL STRONG ?

  • scariest thing to hear a gangster say is keep him here

  • good movie. So what do u think? Batts used his power to get the place reserved or did Paulie tell Henry to reserve it for him because Jimmy didnt like Batts because he took over Batts' operation, and Batts would eventually wanted it back and wouldve used his rank to take it back since Jimmy was the outside guy of the mob.

  • fuckin phil leotardo

  • love it, whats the song at the start?

  • @akenny01 Atlantis by Donovan skip to 1:44

  • The best bit is when they open the trunk and is still alive. Tommy bursts his bone sack open with a kitchen knife while batts is choking and squealing like a pig, absolutely brutal but good clip. Batts was extremely cocky and arrogant with his crew around, by the end he's shivering and yelping no doubt with his pants full of shit.

  • "fuckin' mutt dented my shoes"

  • Another thing I was wondering was why Jimmy went along with it if he knew it was so dangerous to kill a made man. After some research I found out that Jimmy inherited Billy's rackets when he went to prison and when he got out, Billy wanted them back. That must have been what that conversation was about when Tommy walked in. "I did my fucking time. I come home and I want what I gotta get. I got fuckin' mouths to feed." Very interesting.

  • @MaxCovington543 Right on! Jimmy did not want to give those rackets up. I also read that Billy Devino (Batts) and Spider were friends of Gotti. I read that Gotti was suspected of killing Tommy Desimone (Devito in Goodfellas) as revenge. I read that Tommy raped Karen and when Paulie found out, he told the Gambinos about the Batts and Spider murders. Paulie was having an affair with Karen( I think when Henry was in jail?) and was furious when he found out about it. Great stuff!

  • @booeyats1 Actually, Tommy had trid to rape Karen, but she managd to fight him off. Shows you what a scumbag he really was. No wonder Paul Vario(Paul Cicero, Paul Sorvino's character)didn't like him.

  • @Clonetrooper1139 I stand corrected, you are correct, Karen did fight him off. He was a total dirtball and really did deserve to be killed!

  • @MaxCovington543 Still that was a hell of a risk. Batts was a capo in the Gambino crew. I just always wondered how they found out Tommy was involved in Batts' killng and not Jimmy.

  • @MaxCovington543 thx for the info i was wondering about the same thingtoo

  • @MaxCovington543 Top notch comment. Seen this a thousand times and never could figure out why he went along or what that conversation was about. Thanks.

  • @autoexradguy You're welcome and thank you.

  • Comment removed

  • @MaxCovington543 Wondered that myself - brilliant work. Thanks!!

  • @MaxCovington543 Very good investigating...it's amazing, over 20 years after the release little stuff like this gets explained...Well done, Sir.

  • @MaxCovington543 it actually had to do with various things, Jimmy (The Gent) Burke happened to be a sord of a coon himself, psychotic and often snaky. Unlike Thomas DeSimone who was a complete psycho, trigger happy wacko. Scorsese intentionally changed things a bit in the movie but if you read the book ''Wiseguys'' you'll get the most accurate accounts of the Vario Crew aside from the documentaries. I recommend it for anyone who wants to know the real story of 'Goodfellas'

  • Now go home and get ya fackin shinebox!!

  • Phil Leotardo!!!

  • no no , drinks are on ... the house... amen

  • He was picked out by having very well-polished shoes, too well polished for an airport employee,---- from Wikipaedia about the Lufthansa heist. Check Thomas DeSimone for more info about tommy

  • My dad was friends with Billy Batts

  • @blinkjagr Amazing! Can you tell us anything about him?????

  • @booeyats1 Billy likes to drink soda

  • If you listen to the commentary with the real Henry Hill, that part where Tommy beat Billy so hard he broke that .38 special really happened. And I thought I had a temper...

  • @MaxCovington543 damn legit? wow

  • @LUVFAMILIA That's what he said anyways. He sounded kind of emotionally distressed when he was watching this scene too like he was remembering how it happened.

  • any1 noticed the look on billys friend's (with the gold cross chain) face when he says "go home and get ur fuckin shinebox?" pretty funny

  • I fuckin love his reaction!!

  • "top of the mornin' to ya"

  • Maybe you ain't heard, I don't shine shoes any more.

  • Fuckin' mutt dented my shoes...

  • Yeah come on ya fuckin feel-strong!

  • I bet they had so many bloopers on that scene. XD

  • billy batts got his revenge in casino.

o wait that's why they call him billy batts!

  • its definitely the best scorcese film. except raging bull. thats my favorite :)

  • de niro best actor ever

    goodfella's best film ever

  • the real life tommy character was a stone cold...KILLER!

  • where are all the racist comments on this video...if these guys were black it would be WW5

  • 3:46

Billy: I want what I gotta get..

Oh damn he got it alright.

  • 2:19 Robert De Niro stare. LOL.

  • @Maloperverso i dont mean to sound like a jerk but.... IT'S ATLANTIS BY DONOVAN!!! lol

  • This is one of the best mob movies

  • I would of done the same thing to be honest

  • 3:26 Batts "I'll f**k him in the @ss, I f**ked kids like that in the can in the @ss".....I didn't even catch that line til i saw it like 50 times, LOL

  • @warsai82376 Wow you're right hahahah I had never noticed that before.

  • @warsai82376 First time I noticed that too, I think Billy mumble a bit and that's why lots of people missed it!

  • @warsai82376 Yeah man me too, my brother said that to me and I was like no fuckin way until I watched it over and over! Fantastic Scorcese dialog! If you are ever in Astoria Queens, you gotta have a burger at the diner that they hijacked the truck out of, they are giant burgers and they are great! It still looks like you could film there again today! Did you notice it said 1963 but they were leaning against a 1965 Impala and the Cadillac on the billboard is also a 1965?

  • De Niro and Pesci having a good time.

  • 4:04 Henry is like "We're fucked now"

  • Love the face DeNiro makes as he curb stomps that prick!

  • What a dumbass. The argument was over, peace was agreed upon...and then he insults him again?

  • Always dreamed the boy I love would come along....

  • fukin mutt ! keep him here !

  • i can relate to tommy, being sensitive and all lol. i would have killed billy batts too epicially when he said get these irish hoodlums some drinks.

  • @xp720 the irish hoodlums thing was not even an insult. they know that they all used to b hoodlums. every1 in that lifestyle. no gangster would take offense to that

  • nothing like kickin the hell out of somebody in a 3 piece suit!

  • why didnt Jmmy get whacked he was part of it as well

  • @AcidBurn5009 if u knew the full true story u'd know why.

  • @uzibitch1 thanks for pointing out the obvious.

  • @AcidBurn5009 well u dumb fuck, the person i was replying to said that tommy was not mafia, just a serial killer. get the facts b4 responding to some1 sarcastically asshole

  • I love how Scorsese went from this gangster masterpiece to a kid's film; Much respect to Marty Scorsese! He's inspired me so much!

  • a fight broke out between some juicehead dagos.. when the one threw the other threw the other out the house i screamed out... now go get ur fuckin shinebox.. great times

  • @EminemFan202 and don;t wrinkle his suit!

  • Billy batts was killed like this in real life, he was beaten then stabbed between 30-40 times in the trunk of a car then buried under a dog kennel. Tommy also stangled someone with a piano wire from the back seat of a car, while the guy was dieing he covered himself in so much of his own shit that instead of dismembering him they just buried him so they didnt have to deal with it. Tommy was not maffia he was just a serial killer with no self control like roy demeo. Both got what came to them.

  • @billyboy1871 tommy was most defintely in the mafia. wtf r u talkin about

  • @uzibitch1

yeah he was in the maffia..the point I was making was he's not " real" maffia. most maffia are professional family men who kill when it benefits the family and usually on orders. Tommy just enjoyed killing people for fun..he was a psycho. That hit on batts wasn't even sanctioned. You can't kill a made man without it coming from the top.

  • @billyboy1871 whether he was "professional" or not has nothing to do with if he was "real" mafia. he was. u think all those mafia ppl killed only when ordered? plz. listen to henry in the movie. he said himself that murders in the mafia over stupid arguements were a regular occurence. tommy just happened to kill the wrong guy. that doesn't mean he wasnt "real" mafia. ur just silly if u think that those murdering thugs only killed when ordered.

  • @uzibitch1

Jesus man....I didn't say that people " only" do it when ordered..will you please stop jumping to conclusions ? You forgot about that 16 year old kid spider who gets shot for pretty much no reason? That happened over nothing...not an argument the guy was a young kid. How many made maffia men went around popping kids after picking on them? He was a complete nutcase. Also he wasn't made..why do you think that was? he was seen as a loose cannon. Only made men are considered real maffia

  • @billyboy1871 not true...tommy disimone was in the mafia...he worked under capo paul vario..

  • NOW GO HOME AND GET YOUR FUCKIN SHINEBOX!

  • @hanson666999 Fuckin mutt dented my shoes.

  • Comment removed

  • didnt saw someone said that already goddamn xD

  • now go home and get your fuckin' shinebox xD

  • fucken mutt dented my shoes

  • Notice how in both Goodfellas and Casino, Frank Vincent's characters were the reason Joe Pesci's characters got killed

  • na na ...drinks are on ... the house

  • to cut the paw off

  • 2:24 that line never gets old lol. I thought about saying that to this bitch i know who works at a bar.

  • I like this: one dog goes one way, and the one dog goes the other way. And this guy is like: "Whadd'ya want from me?" Looks like someone we know ........

  • Way down below the ocean where I wanna be she may be!

  • fuckin' mutt dented my shoes

  • I'm gonna watch Casino!!

  • After seeing it again I can see now why the made man told him to get his shine box. Because pesci character at first ignored him, ten told him to ' watch the suit ' and then was like " whatever" when thee made man was speaking to him. So he put him in his place. and took the piss out of him

  • J hh haughty jxjgsh

  • Henry Hill on Jimmy Burke ''Jimmy would scare the scariest guy''

  • we all know 1 asshole we wanna do this to

  • Comment removed

  • Pesci calls him tough guy, Franky calls Pesci tough guy in Casino.

  • Scenes like this where you forget that this is all just acting. De Niro, Frank Vincent, Pesci, Liotta .. everyone at their very best!
