  • A Boeing 777-200LR could connect Denver and JNB .. .. but if you're looking at heavier loads then possibly Denver to somwhere in West Africa (Dakar, Sal or Accra or even Lagos) then to Johannesburg on a Airbus A340

  • An electronic device that transmits, like a cell phone or other wireless device, WILL interfere with avionics (I work with them)...a camera is ok...no transmission of signal.

So keep the phones and laptops off, but take all the pics you want.

  • Isn't it illegal to have electronic devices running during landing?

  • No. It doesn't interfere at all.

  • U idiot! yes it does have you ever been on a plane>?

  • Electronic devices do not interfere. It's electronics in transmit mode that interfere. A camera is not going to interfere with anything since it does not transmit signals. Please stop acting like you know it all and like you're the only one that's flown in an airplane. I've flown in an airplane plenty of times, bitch.
