awesome! this really helped. beginning it was a bit unclear but the consistent examples really entrenched it into me. ALL of my resources skipped the crucial step how integrating the lefthand side yielded the integrating factor times y.

Try something like exp(ln4) in your calculator and you'll see that it e cancels ln and vice versa.
