There is a difference between lazy registration workers filling out phony registration cards out of the phone book, which wouldn't result in unverified voters and a situation where the votes aren't even counted but the current administration just decides who won and makes up some numbers. But yes, if there is cases of election fraud in the US, people should call for re-elections, even if their party won... but Acorn is a ridiculous argument because it didn't result in actual votes.

I don't really know much in Arabic or Farsi as an American born university student of no Iranian heritage, but the Iranian people hold a special place in my heart, and I hope that one of these days they will secure a better future, and one day I will be able to go to Iran to rejoice in the greatness of God with the Iranian people.

bored young people and little else. I don't like the government of iran, but a belligerent hoard isn't a suitable replacement. Democracy is overrated as are alleged western values. I doubt Obama could have got elected with that 600 million dollars from lobyists and private donors.
The US has for many years now used the value of "free press" to undermine democratically elected people they don't like. So why would any country want these weaknesses in they're country.

Still it's better than what we have in Iran today. Why do you compare Iran to the US, why not the Scandinavian countries, or other Wester European countries that do have a functioning democracy.
With the history and culture of Iran, it should do much better than even the Scandinavian countries.

There is a difference between lazy registration workers filling out phony registration cards out of the phone book, which wouldn't result in unverified voters and a situation where the votes aren't even counted but the current administration just decides who won and makes up some numbers. But yes, if there is cases of election fraud in the US, people should call for re-elections, even if their party won... but Acorn is a ridiculous argument because it didn't result in actual votes.
