very good scene. too bad Vaughn lacked a real mastery of tempo, montage and visual composition. He's way too fast, doesn't know how to build up the scene giving away the sublift scenery from the start ,doesn't use properly the human reaction like Mann . Kubrick (2001) or Coppola (apocalypse now Valkyrie ride) would have done wonders with a scene like that. To a less extent Singer would have done it better too. Can't help

My favorite scene in the whole movies. This scene would have been even more epic had Magneto had as much power as he did in the other movies. Fuck, he could lift all the ships out of the water and turn them upside down and drop them lol.

@derekmorris89 That would have made it less epic, what made this epic is the fact that you get to see the beginning of Magneto, from the start of the movie to this point and how much he changed, but it's he's still learning. It would have been nonsense to go to full Mags strength in just 2hrs.

That being said It might have still been less epic, it's always more epic(IMO) to watch a person overcoming something seemingly impossible than something relatively easy, Seeing him struggle but suceed here had more impact than seeing him move the Golden Gate bridge with ease in X3, but it would be really sweet seeing older Mags jacking up a couple of aircraft carriers.
