Some idiots equate any concern for animals with what they perceive to be "far left environmental loons" and thus attack anyone trying to do good work on behalf of animals out of a purely partisan knee jerk political reaction. The guys are real, do great work, and deserve our respect and support. Leave politics out of it. We can all agree that animal cruelty is wrong wrong wrong.

@thesecolors I'll prove your point. I'm a republican. Tried and true. I have been dragging home stray animals since I was a little girl. Right now I'm trying my hardest to rescue a litter of kittens and find a mama cat a home. My back hurts. I'm exhausted and I'm broke and I'm not slowing down for anything. 4 kittens rescued so far and a foster home ligned up for mama.

Animal abuse is just about as low as a human can crawl.

I love these guys, more people should be like them. Someone has to stand up to the sickos in the world that would hurt an animal. I know I would.

Thanks for stopping by and bringing my attention to the NY Newsday article. i read it and, it exonerates the Rescue Ink Unleashed crew. i've added a link to the Newsday article and a link to the Rescue Ink Unleashed page on the info column on the right. True some of the Rescue Ink Unleashed guys had brushes with the law in the past, but i think it's important to recognize the that was the past, and they're doing good work on behalf of animals now.

I have to agree that Nat Geo definitley has a GREAT new show. I wish every state/county had a rescue ink.
