I would always have my Stun Club on Triangle, my Net on Square, my Radar on Circle, and everything else on X.

I never thought of using the skyflier to cross the ice bridges, I always used the super hoop.

I haven't tried the method myself, but I think it's possible to cross the ice bridges through constant jumping too.
