for those of us in bands, you'll notice Dave signaling to the back of house soun dguy for more monitor shortly before the chorus. he can;t hear himself and that makes it damn near impossible for any singer to sing on key in a room that loud without hearing themself in their monitor. and sometimes conditions don't allow for enough vox in the earbuds, or worse, if you use floor monitors, which I loathe. so cut Dave some clack, maybe not the best live vocalist ever, but what they do is golden

he sings flat all the time because that's how he naturally sings, but then again when you're moving and playing guitar it makes it harder to sing.

it kind of makes me laugh when i hear bad singers like that because they actually are chosen/choose to be the singer and i doubt they're thinking, well you'll sound better when you get in the studio.
