  • Nice cuttin' Sir . I just ordered the Musashi golden dragonfly for my first sword ( I cant wait to get it ) . I tried your coupon code but it was invalid . Do i have to use it for specific swords ? Or is the code expired ? If you know any more codes for over 5% off please let me know . Thanx and have a great day ....

  • Thank you for your comment. A great movie, great skills, great timing, speed and precision. I wish you well as perseverance and undying passion. greet modern samurai, deman

  • Thanks Jonis for the review, I just ordered one of these the other day. I like you am a little on the strong side and I made the mistake of getting a fairly cheap Musashi Tomoe Katana for my first sword and bent it up by trying to cut plastic bottles of water. I think you have proven this is a much more durable blade to handle your more powerful wielders.

  • Its a sad day... I messed up my Musashi Handmade Samurai Katana Sword Edo 1060 Steel ...but hey I defeated a worthy adversary...The Virginia Dare Concentrated 5 gal. Tea Jug....SIGH!!!

  • where is this where you cuttingat, home?

  • @keem31 yes sir, the backyard

  • My first Beginners sword was the Musahi Musha from sword an armory,I'm surprised I haven't seen to many reviews on that one.Next one im gonna get from them will defiantly be one from the " Beater "series.

  • Thanx for the comment. I wanted to ask you this: I am looking for a new sword. I'm stuck between a 1065 with clay tempering or a 1050 folded Katana. Which one would be stronger or keep a better edge?

  • nice video on my birthday :D i have been thinking about getting this as my first cutter...

  • great cuts from the boys...O.T. and the Jonis representin'...

  • Would this make a good beginners sword?

  • @mistermateriel most definitely

  • yea man that side of the saya is hilarious, a little too western for a katana maybe lol

  • dude, i thing u could've goten those 4 mats u just needed to adjust ur cutting angle on ur wrist but anyway i'm not here to judge ur cutting cuz i do love to watch ur cutting videos.

  • dude the polish wor on it is beautiful

  • Looks like a nice sword and affordable. Great video from both of you, thanks. Were those O.T's 1st mats?! No stopping him now.

  • @GAR85120514 yeah man,O.T. is gonna' go on a rampage now

  • Great, you're making videos again =D

  • yea the lettering looks like a fifth grader inscribed it.. i didnt like it either where did you purcahse it from?

  • @1gamoguy you can get it from swordnarmory

  • For that price it's incredibly impressive! I wonder how they manage to produce it at such a low cost without compromising the structural integrity. Definitely well done.

And nice cutting too! Good to see you like it Jonis. =)

  • @SkallagrimNilsson my man Skally, thanks for watching. Hope things are well for you, I'm still here I just fade in and out from time to time.

  • Excellent and unbiased review, my friend.

  • @Jeeperrandy thanks Ran.

  • Awesome Jonis!

I have to agree with you about the Saya. That does look like a great light cutter. I'm going to have to get one for Curtis and I to beat up ;-)

    Cheers

  • @wizzbangtg Tommy!!! Curtis!!! How you guys been? It would be a great sword for Curt.

  • i wanna be a guest swordsman one day. i dig those swords, still loyal to musashi but yep, they cool.

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana all you have to do is come on out!

  • @jonislow i'm stuck in florida, looks like i'm the only person in florida who even owns a sword.

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana Hey, FGWAK, may I ask where in Fl you are? I'm SlayerofDarkness from SBG, with almost 3,000 posts there, lol, and I'm in North Florida. If you're close by maybe we could get together and cut some stuff, man! My katana collection is rather lame, ATM, but promises to get bigger soon...

Anyway, just wanted to assure you, there are other swamp warriors around in this God-forsaken marshland we call home! :P

    Later,

    Slayer

  • @SlayerofDarkness100 i'm in pasco county, maybe one day we could slay bottles but uh i wouldn't count on tomorrow lol

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana Okay, you're around 5 hours from me, I think... rough approximation, lol. I'm in Tallahassee. ;-)

Yeah, tomorrow WOULD be a bit of a stretch.... besides, I'll probably be in the hospital for anxiety treatment after waiting all day for Jonis to tell me if I won the beater contest or not! :P

Anyway, if you're ever coming up this way, let me know! I have a few hundred bottles laying around waiting to be slain....

    Later,

    Slayer

  • @SlayerofDarkness100 same here on the bottles yo. you were one of the fellows that left 7 standing? well i'm glad a fellow floridian might be a winner even if it isn't me. most of the time if i'm up there, i'm usually on my way to kentucky but if advance auto stops dicking me around and hires me again then i'll get me some wheels and we'll see about all that cutting business.

  • Nice job. I like the cutting portion. So often you don't get to see how a blade performs.
