Can someone please direct me to this music!? Please where can I enjoy it on youtube..I have loved it for so long. I was told a man named "Elliot'' wrote it..long time ago
@Lilhousemd OMFG!!! i just did too! i read it somewhere and just had to google it!! no wonder his family doesn't know when he narrates stuff. he sounds funny....but im an school and went into a rly huge giggling fit. lol
@Lilhousemd Have you seen any of the America the Story of Us show? He narrates those too. Sadly, i didn't recognize him when I first watched the show, which was only for about 10 mins, but then I found out it was him and I started watching the show just to hear his voice. lol
The song is a composition by "Elliot''.Or so I was informed by the company when I wrote to them a year or so ago asking about this song. I asked if there was a cd, but it seems to have been composed for the commercial. Perhaps we can all do a petition pleading for the song to be completed- and Elliot would be touched and gratify us! :) Really..
i love this commercial i havent seen it in like 3 years! it always remides me of winter time and x-mas. i love the backround music thanks for bringing it back.
Your lying. I just saw this and i had to respond. Infiniti does in fact not have a ad department, and I work at a52 in Santa Monica were this case study was conceived, and for the record there was no place for your dad to be when it was "shoot" because it was done all on computer. Unless your dad is Patrick Murphy, Ben Looram or Tim Bird, Stop making stuff up!
You're an idiot and a liar. Infiniti does indeed have a fledging advertising department and yes, they were the ones who came up with the ad. Stop making shit up you asshat.
And I say again, cause i know from fact. Inifiniti does not have an AD department. Geez.. I guess you work there too because of course you konw its fledging. Give me a break!
And I say again, cause i know from fact. Inifiniti does not have an AD department. Geez.. I guess you work there too because of course you konw its fledging. Give me a break!
there is another cool m commercial sorta like this with the same music, but no dialogue until the end. anyone seen it or know where it can be seen? it doesn't come on tv often.
I know which one you mean this commercial is on the US site.. the one you are talkign abt playing in canada only i think.. but sadly it is not posted on the canadian infiniti website.. either way same music same great feel
dark0821: All aside -- I'll try sitting down and catching all the notes with my violin or something -- (but first I'll have to buy a violin and learn it!). I'll try prolonging the melody of interest here, and coming up with something that matches with it.
Usually, the music you hear on TV isn't a borrowed portion from a specific title of any band - but a modified version of it -- or as in this case, altogether made exclusively for the commerical. It costs the companies a lot less - (since getting the rights to include a specific title can cost absurd amounts of money). It was made by Elias Arts (www.eliasarts.com)
There are lots of commercials in existence which use "real songs," but more often not. A notable example is "American Pie" in the Chevy commercial, which actually has in its lyrics the mention of a Chevy car. Very often, rock'n'roll artists are opposed to having their material be used for commercial purposes - some not, like the Who. Nissan used their "Baba O'Riley" and "Won't get fooled again" for their commercials. It's considered to be the biggest sell-out in the history of rock'n'roll.
I was told it was just for the commercial, but come on dude! You can finish this and be a millionare..PLEASE! IT"S SUCH A GOOD GOOD SONG!

Really classic, sharp, not overwrought, and drives all the points of why the infiniti sedan kicks ass! Proves the point people at carz./com make.

Even though Infiniti's ads are rather generic and uninvolving, they are a step up from the 'rocks & trees' campaign of the early 1990s.

Why is it that every other song I've heard in a car commercial has been a real song? :P
