If anyone knows where I can find a copy of Wayne's LP that has "Strive On Be Strong" on it, please, please, pretty please let me know. I have been looking for over a decade for this song. Thanks so much. This brother lifted my vibes so many times while listening to him in the 70's. Howard U!!!
I had the extreme honor of seeing Wayne Davis at the Greek Theatre in the early 1970's. He was part of Roberta Flack's band. She asked Wane to come out and perform a few songs. it couldn't have been more than three or four. I remember him singing "How's Mama's Baby." Wayne Davis stole the show!! I'll NEVER forget him. G-d be with Wayne Davis always!!
My favorite song on this incredible album is "How's Mama's Baby. It was really hard to market this album. It was funky, soulful, spiritual, and jazzy. Music for the mind, body, and soul.
