How do you get the arena fights against Tales characters? I'm already at the final boss again on my second playthrough and none of these show up for me.

Do the "Training with X" quests you get from Chat, where you have to kill monsters with a pre-set tales team. After you have done enough for say, the ToS team, you will get a quest where you duel Lloyd. That will unlock the battles vs the ToS teams in the arena.

Basically, finish the training missions with the different tales teams, fight a duel vs one of the characters from a game, and it unlocks the arena battles.

That's not exp, it's my maximum damage done during the battle :)

There's no exp at all in the arena.

She is like the others, she's just always with me in the arena fights since she's my highest leveled character. Makes things easier for me, especially in 3on3 and 2on4's.

Every dungeon in the game has 1 green chest. Get all the puzzle pieces for a dungeon, open the green chest, and you get 1 battle theme. In one of them you get the sound selector key item, which lets you change to the other themes once you get them.

I believe the one in this video was found in the desert dungeon.
