  • Man where is my curly top, print shirt and Guess overalls when I need them. Taking me back

  • Spark Of Loveeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @pariks.....The R&B of 1990 to about 1997 was different than it is now....it was smoother. Its not like now where artist are like I wanna put you in this position, then Im gonna make you scream, ( I love this one), Im gonna make you call me daddy ( really?) .....lol. That music of way back when, made a point without being graphic, I can accept some hip thrust, but now you got videos that are short of soft porn and dudes humpin hardwood floors to get their point across......silly if u ask me!!!

  • That dance lmao

  • love this song!! bring back soooo many memories of being a teenager!!

  • Comment removed

  • This album was really good but their follow-up "Butterflies" was great. Steven Russell from Troop came with some serious heat for those tracks.

Ahh i miss the days of Video Vibrations and Video Soul. this song is unlike most vocal groups because it spotlights all the members singing ability instead of the lead singer. gots me feeling nostalgic

  • Hi tops, Rayon shirts, romantic videos, the 90's were great, LOL

  • Trivia: Can anyone guess who this song was first written for?

  • Too bad only one album from these guys that I know of. I guess they couldn't compete with Troop, New Edition, Guy, Boys 2 Men, High Five, NKTOB,lol.

Its how it goes sometimes. Personally I think it was bad timing, but I love the track!

  • You want to know where Hammer's money went? Check out this video...dude rented a YAHCT for a video. A YAHCT fam! lol Great song though.

  • I love this song...but the version that I heard them sing when I was in HS, was there was a part where there was a female rapper, who had rapped a verse in it....does anyone remember that or was it just me?

  • The song playing in the background is "I Dont Want To Lose Your Love" by 'B Angie B' for all of those who thought it was catchy :)

  • Man this song takes me back....way back!!!Thank u so much for posting this video!I love this song!!!!!

  • Yo see the slope fades this is back in the day we had the greatest styles none of them were disrespectful to no one like kids today wearing there pants around they ass! Back then a girl wouldnt give you the time nor day if your pants was off your ass!

  • Amen.

  • I Love this song, I have been looking for this song thank you!!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!! Y can't they make muzik like dis now??? I'm tired of all da muzik bout big butts n breast, n gettin' sum. So disrespectful. I hate dat it had 2 b my generation dat turned out like dis.....Ah well, gotta watch dis video again!! LOL

  • Thank-you for posting this! I used to love this song. I was in college when this came out.

  • Love this!

  • I agree with you backintheday. You're right it's an analogy. No more Youtube battling. You won. I loved this song and I was only 8 when this came out. No one remembers this

  • A couple of these dudes have MySpace pages. Said they still make music too.

  • These kats were like the first dudes who filmed a nice romantic video on how they would spoil their women! Classy video... The boat scene and all...I was young, but my favorite of all time!

  • thank you so much for posting this video. I love this song so much, you just don't know

  • This group has 1 Tony Thompson, 1 Bobby Brown, 1 Ralph Tresvant, 1 Nathan Morris, and a Ricky Bell. It makes no dayum sense why all this talent went to waste.

  • This group does not have any of those people you listed in it. This group came out of MC Hammer's camp. All of these guys were his backup singers until he got his production company Bust it Records and they were one the first groups that he produced and put out.

  • I KNOW THAT. . . .I was jokingly saying the singers have talents similar to the people I listed. You need to learn what an "analogy" is.

  • Who are you getting smart with? You analogy was wrong and inappropriate because if you were a true Special G fan you would know that all of their voices were unique and they didn't sound like anyone else.

  • Some of you Youtube trolls need to take your medication before posting on here. You're taking this stuff way too personal. If you're old enough to know who this group is you should know better. You're acting like an angry insecure teenager over an anonymous comment by a complete stranger. "Who are you getting smart with???" ---- Who are getting psychotic with? Mu'fugga get a life and grow up. You ain't Special G's manager. Learn to cope.

  • Your an idiot! First of all your the one that got offended and took it there. If you were so mature you wouldn't have even responded to what I initially said. But, no you had to respond like the "Youtube Troll" you are! All I said from the start is that you were wrong.

  • Don't blog if you can't handle criticism. I haven't once called you name until now or was I disrespectful until you became disrespectful in your tone. You can fuck off cause I really don't give a damn about someone that I don't even know! You low life scum of YouTube land get a fucking life and get off the damn computer! They shouldn't even allow people with your IQ level to purchase the internet.

  • Luvly734,

Fact is you jumped on me and got told. Get off the net and stop working out your mental issues on here. There's counselors and medication for that. You had to make 2 posts to pop off some garbage because you can't take what you dish out. Your life must be a real mess. . . .

  • I see you keep replying! How much better can your life be? What a dummy!

  • That's real good!! You're daring me to stop clowning the hell out of you because you realize you done f**ked up! Now maybe you'll learn you shouldn't respond to everyone like a schizo when they weren't even addressing you. And you are a hot mess. I noticed you never rebutted that. Poor thang. . . .

  • Still responding! What a loser! That is still wrong as I stated from the start! Only a loser would keep responding and calling people that you don't know names. Glad you have plenty of time on your hands. It means your not infecting the world with your sickness!

  • These cats where really the only talent that came out of Hammer's camp, I think they were in competition with Troop were worst haircuts in a group:)

  • Simply loving the throwback baby! Marvelous simply marvelous!!

  • OMG, this take me back to those Donny Simpson & Sherry Carter Video Soul days, when I used to record videos on the VHS lmao !! I just replayed this song like 4Xs back2back! Lawd I was like in the 6th grade. I used 2 luv the short guy and the 1 with the "Gumbi" hair cut, the 90's kid know what I mean about the Gumbi hair cut! LMAO

  • Hell yeah! those were the good ol' days! I used to do the same thing! lol i used to luv the guy with the Gumbi hair cut too! That style was "in" back in those days lol.

  • I LOVED this video. I hated the parts when the one with the high voice did those nasty hard pumps.(@3:38) He got on my nerves! I was in love(I think I still might be a little) with the one who has the gumby haircut. He looks so good @2:49 and 4:21! DAMN!

  • Anyone notice how the Neptunes interpolated the melody of this song in N.E.R.D.'s "Am i High" on the bridge ? search "Am i High" and listen .

  • me and 2 of my friends did this song in a highschool talent show. I had a hightop fade and those ugly hammer pants ......wow...lmao.. those were the days

  • Gawd, I was young when this came out, but I loooooved this song so much!!!

  • These guys were talented . They had like three Ralph Tresvants, one Ricky Bell. This was their best song I had the cassette. If they had a better A&R person but Capitol was just waiting for Hammer to fall!!!!

  • Yeah. This track was really goin' on back in the early '90's. Mari Morrow & Nia Long were looking real good in this video...oh by the way, if anybody was wondering what that track was playing low in the background (at the beginning dialogue of the video), that was B Angie B's remake of The Emotions tune "I Don't Wanna Lose Your Love". B Angie B was also on M.C. Hammer's Bust It/Capitol Records label at that time, too. Track was a slammin' hit.

  • Whats that joint playing in the background when the girls are talking at the start of the video? I really love it.

  • AW!!!HELL!!YEAH!!! This joint came out in '91 I was in high school and use to play the SHIT out of this song. I also saw them in concert with Hammer(Have You SEEN HER). I miss those days

  • wooooooooooooooooow, this is my jam from the 80's, i remember when they did back up for Hammer.

  • I was in oakland during that time. It was crazy!

  • I was actually near Oakland in San Francisco@ fleet week. I was just in the Navy walking on pier 37 or 39. So me and some of my shipmates decided to do this song and "you are everything". You're right!! It was some crazy and fun times.

  • It took me YEARS to find this song (I'm talkin' from 91 up until a few years ago lol!), and once I did, I played it at least 3 months straight. This was my favorite song growing up (80's baby)... Nah, they don't songs like this anymore.

  • oh man this was the shit I love the 90's they just don't make music like this no more

  • Maaaaaaaan this was the shit, I was at Texas Southern University and use 2 play this everyday b4 class. Damn i miss those dayz.............

  • I love this song I was in high school when it came out and I use to call the BOX and charge my mama phone to watch this video.... I love these Guys..... Mc Hammer Backup singers

  • what ever happen to them. thanks to mc hammer for bringing them out

  • Thank-you for this one! I was in college at Virginia State University when this came out. Brings back a lot of memories. :)

  • This was one of may favorite songs..still love it. I used to request this video all the time back in the day.....remember when you had to call and request your favorite video. Put in the video number and it was charged to your phone. I look back and it was expensive doing it but I just loved this song. :)

  • MARI MORROW-BARBADOS STAND UP!

  • I wanna go back to the 90's and do it all over again

  • Shit, even the Rodney King beating? the Riots, Boyz N Da Hood, Tupac, Drugs, the projects. The Chicago Bulls, (JORDAN) Bell Biv Devoe...(LOL) What else?

  • Mari Morrow looks almost as good in this video as she does in person! There is a pic of me and Mari on my computer wallpaper. How many men can sing as high as these guys?

  • I was a sophmore in high school when I first heard this song and fell in love with it almost immediately. 17 years later that has not changed. I'm still in love with it today and I quickly added it to my favorites. I looked up Special Generation specifically for this song

  • I'm so speechless to find this. I remember almost breaking my neck trying to run across my childhood home to record this on cassette tape. This was my song!!

  • Oh my whoever posted this thank thank thank you so much this is what im talking about real music that is what we need now! you got some good singers but bad writers! Now can you please post ONE NIGHT LOVER

  • This was the JAM!!! LOVE the acapella fade out!!

  • thatz my shit too i thought it was just me!1

  • I wonder if Nia Long and Mari Morrow still keep in touch with these dudes, I mean, since they were probably responsible for breaking them into the business in the early 90's and all!

  • this song just popped in my head today...thanx for uploading it!!!!

  • these were mc hammers boyz from oaktown

  • after the 2nd verse, the rap went sorta like:

"it takes 2 to flame grow right, let's take the time to find the kind that last the whole night, 'cause you gettin' me oh so hot, tryna flow and pull a no-show, i don't think so. Stop wit all the fighin' & fussin', a simple case of spontaneous combustion. And Special G can always light a spark wit me."

then the the 2nd verse repeats with the 2nd soloist. it was tight as hell. i wish i knew who the female rapper was, damn.....

  • does any body remember the radio edit version w/ the rapping in it? it was a girl that sounded like lisa "lefteye" lopes. i still have the cassette single and play it all the time, but the jacket doesn't say who the female rapper is. any clue???

  • Yo see the slope fades this is back in the day we had the greatest styles none of them were disrespectful to no one like kids today wearing there pants around they ass! Back then a girl wouldnt give you the time nor day if your pants was off your ass!

  • Those were the days! *sigh*

  • r&b music was still in effect in the early 90's and this proves it. i thought this group slipped through the cracks.

  • Remember mustard and olive colored suits. Patton leather shoes with gold tips and taps last but not least HAMMER PANTS

  • I O U and Damaged u got a good memory LOL

  • Not really. I'm just old and was wearin all that shit when it was cool. lol

  • I have been looking for this song ever since I heard it in 1991. To me it is one of the greeatest r & b songs of all time. I originally thought this song was sung by hi five. I have performed lyric search after lyric search. I finally had to do a search of r & b groups who did'nt do too well on the charts. Still it is one of the greatest r & b songs I've ever heard. THANKS A MILLION FOR POSTING!

  • That was da jam too

Its funny I had to have been about 12 and I remember all the words to this song. Truely a great song and colaboration of voices.

  • I remember this video and I even made a remix to this recentlly. When I first heard this song when I was in the Ninth Grade I was like,This is tight and I bought the casset tape of the album. I wore the tape out and I got it on CD now(LOL) Anyway,I never thought I would see this Video again. Whomever put this on here I just want to say "THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!"
