  • That tarantula is so beautiful!!

  • Dude !! I can watch a lion take down a little Thompson Gazelle no probs, but watching this stuff gives me the creeps !!!

  • What a beautiful girl and pretty docile too! I've always loved the Grammostola pulchra. Highly under rated in the genus!

I would definitely say she didn't know what it was prior to attacking it, lol.

  • Awesome idea! you know that grub bear gylls ate? you should try and get one of them for your T's btw i have no idea if it will work i know nothing about spiders

  • Clever girl...

  • that is 1 cruel T

  • Absolutely gorgeous T! I just got 2 G. pulchra slings, so I'm a few years away from having such a big beautiful girl of my own. Great shots though

  • Hahahaha! My own G. pulchra had her first mealworm today, and after being so used to fast, skittish crickets she did something quite similar to your girl! Stood over it for about a minute before deducing it was edible. :D Cool vid man, she's a big girl!

  • I just love these species!! Probably one of the most chunky & cute tarantulas that i first own in my T. hobby :D

  • lovely girl mate they are a great t i have 44 ts but this is one of my faves .peace

  • This video horrifies me. Not because of the tarantula, but the hornworm. I HATE hornworms.

  • Love the gatorade bottle cap same thing i got in my cage XD.

  • note to self -Goliath Worms Explode!- end note :D

  • lol she is stalking but not to be cruel. She is smart, and she was probing it to see what it was; looking for weak points.

  • @RageOfTheTiger

    shes tactical

  • @projecht65 I see some of these horned worms at my local pet store, on here sometimes I see Goliath worms. Is that another name for them or are they two different types of worms? They look about the same.

  • @projecht65 NVM, dumb question. Just realised Goliath was in the title as well..oops

  • @SaintSadistic94

    thats my girl!

  • Awww, she's like a black cat :D

  • EW :))

  • do they bite? the worm that is, not the T! like superworms bite, do these?

  • That was gross! After she tagged it it's juices went flying everywhere *Puke* Great vid though.

  • I think you managed to confuse your T. ;)

  • It looks like she wasnt sure if this was food or a finger, she repeatedly had to investigate to be certain...neat video

  • That really is one giant feast, mines really picky and will happilly drop half a locust if she's full.

  • 99% water in that worm :D

  • For the first few seconds she looked like she was mothering the worm and raising it to be a spider.

  • juicy..

  • Where did you order the horned worms from? I've been looking for these. Nice meal for adult T's. One of these a month is excellent mixed in with B. Dubia.

  • I absolutely LOVE the way she follows it around for a while before finally deciding it was a good meal. And what a beautiful T. I can't wait to finally get my hands on one of these.

  • This is both fascinating and disgusting :)

Beautiful T, btw. My male immature has a great appetite, eats everything I give him.

  • Tarantula: yaaaaaaaaay! piggyback! :D

    worm: f**k up beyotch -.-'

tarantula: aww! :'( then die >:)

  • she's beautiful!Seems pretty good natured,too :)

  • Ah, the trials of life. Very interesting video.

  • Absolutely gorgeous T!

  • Freaking love pulchras! getting myself one this friday! :D

  • That was awesome, now she'll probably mistake you finger... lol

  • It like she's thinking "don't touch me while I eat you" lol : P

  • cool attack lol

  • and then its like i sweep out your legs ya spider lady hyaaaaaaa..ow

  • the worm was like, phew k im down, now, where the hell am i? its wierd here, hmm i think ill just go this wa-?? is there something touchin me? naw cant be lala up! there it is again?

  • I feel bad for the worm. It had no chance.

  • that T rip the guts out of the caterpillar

  • since when can we sex t's by the webbing they produce? She is female and I know how to sex t's. I watched her make that web hammock and watched her molt in it.

  • Just saying if you ever get a whole bunch of them and decide to breed them, they make really beautiful moths.

  • They can really get a good size, the one i have is over 7"

  • I enjoyed! Spider says "nom om nom noms" :3

  • Your pulchra is gorgeous!

    The worms disgusting though, lol!

  • I know right fdw! that was so weird to me, ive never seen her do anything other than destroy prey items! I think i even said something like "whoa weird" in the vid haha

  • that ``bed`` you said isnt a bed sir. that is a spermweb. your female is a male

  • she was very unsure of herself at first. great vid!

  • yeah im not sure if I will feed them anymore to my T's they are very expensive and i actually bought them for my bearded dragons which they are wonderful for! and just happend to have one left over so I thought I would try it :)

  • Definitely an amazing T. Took her a long time to figure out if it was food or not. Those caterpillars tend to be full of plant matter...seems like we had a discussion about this on AB and the consensus was that they are not real safe feeders. Made for a good video, though. Thanks for sharing.

  • aww its so juicy!

  • Beautiful looking T. Awesome feeding!

  • eco earth and coco fiber :) works wonders.

  • @projecht65 this worm is toxic

  • @senwpu87 Actually these worms are a great source of nutritian for Tarantulas, so I've read and heard from expert Tarantula owners.

  • awesome feeding man, you have a gorgeous pulchra right there, keep em coming man.

  • What do you use as a substrat???
