Beautiful relationship to key concepts. This explains a lot of items. This doesn't just relate to the specific techniques being done but the grouping of similar motions within the art as a whole. This was one of the best modal discussions I have gotten to see on the subject. Brief but informative.
Is it possible that WE HAVE SEEN a little bit of Bagua in a movie with jet-li ... when jet-li is multiple times aware in several dimensions... do you know which movie I mean. he plays a cop who becomes stronger when the other "jet-lis" of the other dimensions die... in the end he fights against the last one.. IN THE SCENE where he trains at home, it seems like bagua... or in other movies TO ME it seems like a little bit like bagua...
with a lot of these applications it seems that Han Sifu is using many very short quick steps. I guess I'm more used to seeing forms because I didn't know baqua used that many explosive strikes etc. Very impressive. Learn something new every day. *bows*
Most fascinating! I love Baguazhang, its very useful in many ways, not just fighting but also medicinal to. Master Han is quite the teacher from what I've seen here. I would love to see what I can absorb in person.
@jesmg in true applications even bagua must have some quick striking movements. Im sure he knows correct form and the actual fluid motions but in a street fight ull just look like a dumbass doing that. U need powerful strikes
Speechless... Hans, two questions! Why did you learn martial arts, and 你聽的動中文嗎,還是你一點都不動? if you can't answer the second, you just answered my question:P
Master Han looks powerful for a small fellow, his teacher was grandmaster liu jing ru so it's no surprise that he's good! when is this DVD being released Hans?
Whereabouts does he teach?
