nice guitar mate and nice cover!! I'm still working on it, the part where you go on the low e where you go 14-15-17 to the 5th string and hit 14 is a lil tricky for me
You give this song much respect. I was fortunate enough to see Randy play this live and you nail his tone dead on. Don't listen to the haters. A note for note identical rendition would be boring. Your phrasing and articulation is what makes this work.
you are one of the very few who pay it the way randy played it live (at 1:00) Thats the way I learned it way back when I was a teen and I notice that nearly every one, on youtube today, I see plays it different that randy did, exept you. They pay it thin when randy played it fat. Nice job.
Yeah I love the guitar bro. It's a pricey item. I'd love to get the 7-string and rock through the metal-ist raunchiest face-melting-ist bowel moving-ist amp ever. I covered the whole song and responded to the same vid you did. Check out the solo I arranged for the piano part. It's duuuurrrrty. lol
I don't know why people are slamming on you dude..???? as that was super close if not 99% dead on.. (((( if you would have had a backing track.. )))) they would be all calling you the next Randy Rhoads .. good job dude.. don't pay attention to these other people that don't even know how to play the song anyway..!!!!!
Melodic minor is a great scale it's helped me create many a solo I like to mix that with harmonic minor and phrygian. Depending on the mood of the song of course so I try not to be to repetitive.
I almost have this solo down, its just that one scale that you play from 00:43 to 00:46. That scale is hard to play clean. Im trying to get every note in instead of just searching over the notes. Great solo though

Pretty funny a lot of videos where the guitarist has a jem no one has anything nice to say... Kinda says something.

what an insult to cover randy rhoads that horribly :( truly disappointing. Way too much rushing. you need to stay in time with the music.

Nah. he switches to the rythm section
TomAkaGuitarHero 3 years ago
the fact that randy rhoads was the only guitarist on blizzard of oz means that there is no rythm part.
mrbrownstone909 3 years ago
Umm...Randy layered the all his tracks and so yes, there is a rhythm track behind the solo track.
Wunderkind7 3 years ago
there are actually 4 guitars and a piano on this song and rhoads did em all except the piano which i think was was don airey

i'm having the exact same problem as you for this solo, that part is the hardest part in my opinion. i guess we just have to keep trying
RTP1000000000 4 years ago
Yeah, lets keep workin at it. Im trying to isolate each part and slowly put them together. Once I get the solo, Ill put a video of it on youtube.

that was good dude real clean and good tone, i did a version of the solo too feel free to check it out
