Great video Jesse! Thank you so much for perpetuating the art of eskrima through uncle Dentoy. His teachings and style remind us of how humble we should all be. That you don't have to be well known in the world of FMA to know what your talking about and your technique & ability to play will speak for itself. I look foward to the finished product! what's good bro. We still are working on it, but the interview with uncle dentoy is fresh. we have a lot more work to do but when it's done all the trailer teasers will be answered.

he says you can put the two together...escrima and arnis...soooo what makes escrima faster than arnis? i didn't know the two were different...

the answer to your question is discussed in the documentary. In this clip however, he says you could put the two together, but there are schools of thought out there that don't combine the two.

Cool. I studied with Angel Cabales when I was a kid.
So what's with the flamenco music? lol...That first guitar piece is in the rhythm of fandango. And the language being sung later in the video later is definitely Castillian Spanish from Spain. A little homage to the conquistadores? :)

Jesse! Where are you? Melissa and I(Amber) have been trying to figure out where you have been. I called but I guess you do not have the same number anymore. the actual doc is brighter, but uncle dentoy is such a private person, we were afraid if we set up a bunch of lights he wouldn't grant us the interview. thanx for subscribing.
