@SgtCrom A posteriori argument could be made to say that you don't need to get Ron Paul in office to know that his views will be demonized for the problems caused by others. In fact we see all the time that the free market gets blamed for problems cause by factors that are not free market. I do feel that if people get a sample of what he represents they will enjoy it and want more,which would move us closer to real freedom.I guess time will tell.

Right now, the cops are being told that we, the general public, want to kill them. Many of us are really mad, but if I take Jake's meaning correctly by saying that if we play into the trap of cop-hating, rather than trying to win them over, they will most surely kill us. Remember Egypt? it wasn't killing the army that won the protesters that battle, but the fact that the army stood down.

I seldom agree with Jake Diliberto, and I think he overlooks things too often, but he's got his merits too.

I think Jake does have a point there (even though I don't agree with him). Basically his message is "pick your battles". Now on what those winning battles are... Heroin, no matter how right it would be to legalize it is too much of a loaded issue to win. Marijuana and dancing, are a little more iffy; they could go either way. But he is right about the cops. I disagree that WE'RE demonizing them (they're doing that to themselves) but we can't hate them. We need to reach out to them.

Good on Ron Paul once again. Forget Marijuana for a second, but the hemp plant has a versatility that could solve the economic crisis and even the energy crisis. Hemp, from building supplies to textiles, to paper, to oil (the kind that heats your home, not gets you high) and even as a pharmaceutical (especially in its refined form) is not only useful, but it's plentiful. There's a reason they call it weed... because if you let it, it grows like one. Ron Paul's saving the economy once again.

I'm nearly fifty, a non user of marijuana (have decades ago) and have long wanted full decriminalization. AND I want no taxes on it. It is a unprocessed & unprepared product unlike alcohol and opiate products.

Molotov Cocktails are the easiest things in the world to make. As I'm an eccentric, I'd propose that every school aged child be expected to learn to make those or some other sort of weapon so as to take budgetary burdens off the police in regards to defending themselves. Adam, during tonight's show, you mentioned that the previous generation wrecked the economy. Instead, you should have clarified that it was the POLICY-MAKERS of the previous generation. However, you are technically right from the perspective of natural law, in that they as a collective consented to the fraud taking place by doing nothing to resist it.
