Karen Carpenter's drumming style was very "traditionalist" from a pre-rock point of view of popular music. Jazz drumming seemed to be the primary influence on her drumming style, which worked well because the Carpenters' pop arrangements were closer to jazz than they were to rock. I don't know if Karen would have been comfortable doing the sort of "power drumming" associate with hard rock, but it generally wasn't necessary for the Carpenters' recordings.
She might still be alive if she'd been left to play the drums at the back instead of being forced out to the front to sing... but the world would have been deprivd of one of the greatest female voices ever.
si es playback, pero lo encaja perfectamente ,supongo que no lo hicieron en directo por el problema de sonorizacion de tanto istrumento de percusion ,pero el talento de karen esta mas que desmostrado.
Karen is a real great drummer. I wish that they showed some more of her drum solos on here. She's my personal favorite drummer! She was also a favorite drummer of Buddy Rich.
Because Fall Out Boy is a faggy little mainstream emo band with no talent and their drummer probably sucks the rest of the band's dicks on the tour bus because he cant play drums for shit. The rest of the band enjoys gettin blowjobs from him and all other men btw. lol
Ya know, I really had no idea Karen Carpenter was that talented. I knew she could sing, but I had no idea she was at that level of percussionist. What a talented lady she was. RIP KC
She really played GREAT DRUMS!

Shoot. She could have been in my band anytime! Heck, I'd quit my band to go be in hers!
