Hey I've been looking everywhere for the jig you use, where can i get myself some of these jigs? What are they called and who sells them. Tysm, nice fish
@Ddvids17 Hi Tysm, they are made by Blue Fox and are called Lil' Foxee Jigging Minnow. You should be able to type that into any search engine on the web and you will find lot's of places you can order it from...God bless you, Italo
@RaguelAngelofBalance You are right. Most of the lake trout are stocked and you can usually tell because before releasing the fish the MNR clips a fin so that it's easier to identify a year class of stocking. The fish I caught abouve did not have any fin-clips so I am suspect that it reproduced naturally. Last winter we also caught some juvenile whitefish that had no fin-clips and those where probably natural reproduction too...Gdo bless you, Italo
@ItaloLabignan Thanks Italo! Some of them luck out naturally no doubt, but the overall odds are against them. As you know, that is why the lake needs stocking and resource management. Lake Simcoe is a winter haven for sure!

they arent natural fish because they are stocked.....

@Coulas09 Wrong! They are stocked to sustain the population because of fishing pressure and lack of suitable spawning areas.
