I live about three miles from where the Harris fire finally burned out. All these houses had insurance and the ones that did not are getting assistance from the State.

Dude if your house got burned you wouldn't say that shit. Who the fuck cars if they have insurance or not. Some people don't face it. Plus it's not the house they lose but what they had inside. They could've have stuff that was close to them. I had to evac to qualcom too and my house wasn't burned but it still sucks to know that some of my friends in westwood have no home now. and if you knew you were going to put such a fucking mean comment why would you spare your time too? I did lose my house in 1994 to the fires we had then, never whined about it never got assistance from anyone we just handled it ourselves.

Wow, you know I support my troops to no end. If I could join I would, unfortunatly my body is too broken. I fought widfires for 10 years. I started at 6.50 an hour ( which was good pay ), no benefits and no retirement for I was only seasonal.

Now, yes troops are dying and at no ends is that a shame. However, I have personally seen things that no one should see. Ive lost a fiance in the line of duty as well as friends.

I am not comparing the troops vrs firefighters. What I am stating and i hope this is clear is that both deserve recognition and our prayers.
