@id493337 Just because you like something in a world that dosen't exist dosen't mean you would necessarily like for it to happen in real life. I personally wouldn't be to crazy about robots blowing shit up all over a city in real life but if were to happen in some made up place than yeah I'd be all for it since it makes for a decent summer movie. Another example of liking something in movies/cartoons/whatever but wouldn't like it to actually happen in real life is godzilla or cloverfield.

I understand not wanting for it to happen to you since it would be a painful experience but it the same thing if it happen to someone else since you don't experience it yourself. Like the tsunami in japan I did not care about that,since I was not there and I did not know anyone that was there.

If someone suffers in reality that sucks because someone who EXISTS is hurt but when it happens in a made up world no one gives two shits about it. Cartoons and fictional characters AREN'T REAL and in many cases are created to be the target of violent actions (ex. Happy Tree Friends). And on the whole the Tsunami thing, you don't have to know anyone in Japan to feel bad for them.
