  • thx rocketboom

    this information was actually usefull

  • Wimax is pointless when companies knowingly oversell. In most areas it seems, Wimax services are almost unusable, with 3000+ ms ping times, 10+% packet losses, sub 0.5 mb/s speeds if that.

  • She is HOT 0:09

  • I'll never understand the retarded obsession with having Vag's hosting tech shows.

  • moronpaul - I laughed when I read your comment and than your name.

  • "the great quantum leap"? does this guy realize that "quantum leap" refers to a pheonomena observed with electrons, and the distance lept is always less than the width of the atom the electron belongs to? FFS

  • lol he should use smaller words

  • Smart cars are crap!

  • ROADS?

  • She wanted to go further in depth. Ok. :)

  • wow a flying car how much does thato ne cost?

  • 1.look at stupid chain message

    2. click on spam

    3. feel good

  • I accidently this video.

  • Elspeth "Ellie" Rountree....

  • @quenby23 i want to cum in her face.. lol

  • cute

  • Or...read a book...but thats gone..I guess

  • Best ending to anything under any circumstances

  • Too many acronyms and abbreviations! Too much jargon! Must find dictionary!

  • must find intermediate english course

  • if you LISTEN, she says 'how fast can this smart car go'...you toolbags

  • 1:21 they did a speed test and maxed out at 6 mbps way to go for Verizon DSL, i've maxed out at over 28 mbps,

  • my plastic bag is sufercating me cantsd realltly breattghb righ.....................

  • SMART (Swatch, Mercedes, Art) Nice choice for Intel. Would like to see how well the services, remain available driving around the city. Parking garages and such often present "dark" zones.

  • speed of the car is irrelevant.

  • Speed is always relevant.

  • perhaps she was asking about the speed of WiMax but the idiot guy at Intel thought she was asking about the Smart car. Hence the sarcastic "ok" she gives after his answer.

that's what i like to think.

  • no she said how fast is the car

  • that car is way to small for him, he should be in a 63 impala with a 409 dual quad in it that would be cool but that little pea shooter just isnt him

  • haha nice and informative

  • and here i thought WiMax was a new Wi game, i was excited :(

  • lol

  • I like her, she seems smart

  • you're joking right?

  • Nope

  • Wimax is almost dead in the water. Try as Intel may, other technologies are getting more traction in the mobile space.

  • Yeah, that ending is awesome!

  • The ending! haha

  • I think she's a great reporter and would like to see her do more work on Rocketboom.

Still kinda miss Joanne... but I'm glad she is pursuing greater challenges and I am certain that she is somewhere this very instant making the world a better place for all of us. Caitlin looks like she has real potential and I think she was an excellent pick.

  • she's slightly less annoying when she's actually reporting and not "acting"...

  • she makes the whole thing interesting

  • ...marry me...

  • its good technology though.

    And shes a gorgeous specimes

  • TWENTY THIRD!!!!!

  • If you watch closely at 0:14 it looks like she just realized how hot she is but she maintains professionalism barely.

I bet during the segment she cant to wait to get home, put her hair in a bun and take a long bath with some candles, bubbles and lavendelscented soap. She's gonna put on the song "ramblin' (wo)man" by "Cat Power" today.

Ooooh those achin bones... Let wimax-nerds be wimax-nerds out there. Fuck 'em.

She has more important things to tend to.

  • lol You need psychiatric help.

  • Realizes how hot she is? What the hell are you rambling on about?

  • Dude, those important things to do include torturing wax bunnies with fire. ;)

  • um..... interesting analysis/fantasy...

  • WiMax is great in theory but no one seems to be adopting it. Cellular networks already have the nationwide infrastructure. but i'll keep my fingers crossed

  • i thought she'd be replacing joanne..

  • Same here.

  • They seem to have some kind of aversion to Face bezels.

  • Dell 2850s

  • Where can I get one those flying Smart cars?

  • Most major canadian cities already have wimax...

  • We do? I live in ottawa, and am not aware of this

  • Rogers/Bell Portable Internet is wimax, or a close derivative. Has been out for a while. Its not called "wimax", or marketed as such, but thats what it is.

  • so its going fast you like aye...

  • yay cancer?

  • this is such an awesome thing. I wish we had this in my town!

Cool to see where this actually comes from :)

  • So?

  • I wish i had WiMax

  • she always seems to be so uncomfortable in ever interview

  • Yea I've noticed that as well, maybe she doesn't like geeks staring at her for long periods of time... I'm J/K :P

It seems like a cool job to be actually.

  • nice

  • What no testing!

  • serious comment, must be costly..

  • Banjogate,

first generation products are usually expensive due to the cost of research and development. Give it time and the costs will go down.

  • And by the time that happens something better usually comes out... heh

but is all for the best eh?
