This animals nature conflicts with being harmless, thats why they can't be trusted around people. I hope for him he plays with them after they had lunch, and preferably when they're about to explode..
@ZMorpheus Nature is something you learn growing up and food is something you define as you grow. For example, you don't consider dog a food. But in some countries it is. While in some countries they keep cows as pets and see our mass breeding of them to slaughter for meat as an abomination. All animals have the capacity to think, to learn, etc. development from childhood is what matters. It's not some pre-built in genetic code that says they have to kill anything that moves... think about it..
@Leidachinaman there's other factors in play comfortability, safety, territory, survival, etc.. food is just one of them.. they will attack for any of these related reasons without reason.. strike first or get striked. these predators won't take that risk..

They know he is not harmful and they are very comfortable with their lives due to the monthly cycling and wide open spaces of each enclosure. I would say it's a safe wager to bet that he'll die of something other than being attacked. He treats these animals with love and respect and for 13 years they've been returning that same treatment.
kevin is amazing, other people would panic in that situation. Look how cool Kevin remained.Finally he gave the leopard a ride on his shoulders. I believe animals specially big cat do sense or pick up any uneasiness or fear from their subjects or preys. If one stays cool, don't panic or run they get confused and usually back off in most circumstances. Kevin knows all this...cool guy. He expands our knowledge about big cats that they are not always ruthless killers.
@leopoldville1 I don't believe that animals can sense fear. I do however believe that Kevin teaches his animals not to use their claws when playing with him from a very young age. He teaches them that he isn't as strong as them at a young age so playing with them when they are fully grown is easier. Animals have the capacity to learn, they have thought and emotions & can form bonds with any animal given the right situation. Human intelligence helps this along quite a bit.

Its amazing the psychology he is using on animals. Lions are indeed loyale creatures and feel emotions just like dogs do because they live in pride's, but leopards is another thing. Most of the animals he has in the settlement see him as a friend/brother/father and as a dominant alpha male. Its rare that this happends but I do belive he is interacting with leopards and lions when he knows they are calm and relaxed. Anyway he's doing an amazing thing and I wish him best of luck and happynes.
@h0olaman Casey anderson adopted Brutus when it was a cub. Kevin just goes and gets along with tigers, cheetahs, lions etc. Kevin gatta be the most impressive one

kevin is amazing, other people would panic in that situation. Look how cool Kevin remained.Finally he gave the leopard a ride on his shoulders. I believe animals specially big cat do sense or pick up any uneasiness or fear from their subjects or preys. If one stays cool, don't panic or run they get confused and usually back off in most circumstances. Kevin knows all this...cool guy. He expands our knowledge about big cats that they are not always ruthless killers.

@leopoldville1 I don't believe that animals can sense fear. I do however believe that Kevin teaches his animals not to use their claws when playing with him from a very young age. He teaches them that he isn't as strong as them at a young age so playing with them when they are fully grown is easier. Animals have the capacity to learn, they have thought and emotions & can form bonds with any animal given the right situation. Human intelligence helps this along quite a bit.

@9CvD There is a difference between having a magical 6th sense for fear and having the standard (perception). You can tell when someone is afraid of you most of the time pretty easily. And if the animal either finds it as a chance to assert dominance or just finds it amusing they'll act on it. That's all...

Its amazing the psychology he is using on animals. Lions are indeed loyale creatures and feel emotions just like dogs do because they live in pride's, but leopards is another thing. Most of the animals he has in the settlement see him as a friend/brother/father and as a dominant alpha male. Its rare that this happends but I do belive he is interacting with leopards and lions when he knows they are calm and relaxed. Anyway he's doing an amazing thing and I wish him best of luck and happynes.
