There is a good way to show your patriotism and commitment to the oath you took... Oh wait that's right you probably didn't raise your right hand and commit yourself to defending this country. Obama is the commander and chief, he is the boss. Weather you like him or not is a completely mute point... To the person who created this video, nicely done.... Very moving.
Obama doesn't deserve to be anywhere near troops especially when your saying how "Touching it is." He wasn't in charge of the attack on Osama.Tthat training operation was in effect for 10 years then he shows up and gets the glory. The man has no military background and was only voted in (if voted in at all) because of his race (which he is not even entirely part of).
@rifleman1939 Actually the people who plan for the military are in the military. The president's job is to tell them whether they can or can't after the generals suggest which answer is the better one. It's best to keep the planning of military tactics to people with experience in that field.

He also helped enforce sexual equality in the work place. He helped drop restrictions on stem-cell research. Nuclear inspection and disposal is once more a priority. And of course, my favorite, he repealed DADT, which put LGBT volunteers in the boots of the nation's military instead of gang members and criminals.

@ownpk611 I never said anything about worth. I respect anyone who volunteers to fight for my freedom. I don't, however, respect gang recruiters enlisting for the sole purpose of getting honest soldiers to join gangs. Same with hate groups doing it too. And if a rapist serves his time and decides to turn his life around by joining the military, I'd respect him too, My statement was about putting LGBT volunteers in the military, people who serve honorably.

With that done, our volunteer numbers are some of the highest they have been in years. Gay and lesbian teens, fresh out of high school can go to their recruiters and enlist, knowing they won't lose their benefits for being who they are. Same with other capable men and women who were too afraid to enlist for fear of a dishonorable discharge by being outed.
