Wii Hacks: Special Miis

@MrDrago950 Actually, it's simple. And it works on every Wii. Just copy a Mii to your Wiimote, copy it using miitransfer and bluetooth, edit it with avatar editor and change the client ID to 1f-ff-ff-f1, overwrite the copied file, send it to the Wiimote thus overwriting the slot of the copied Mii, then transfer it to the Wii in Mii channel. Simple as that :)

1. You dont need GlovePie, you just run readslot0.bat and it will extract it and if its in another slot just run the bat file corresponding to slot

2.You dont need to make a mii and to transfer it to your PC just make a mii and directly transfer it using writeslot0.bat, again you can write to other slot

Before you comment "Oh, you can do this easier with Homebrew Channel", take a note at the date of this video. The homebrew channel (and the Twilight Hack that started it all) were released around March 2008, which is almost a year after this video was made. While it's just gold pants, this was one of the first and most interesting hacks you could do on an un-modded console before homebrew.

The really tricky part was getting the Wiimote to sync with my IVT ISSC bluetooth dongle. The tutorial steps for that don't work for my setup - the pairing sequence is different with the WidComm drivers - you have to use the Bluetooth Setup Wizard and then select "I want to find a specific Bluetooth device and configure how to this computer will use its services" (2nd option). If not, the "Skip Pairing" button won't let you bypass the pairing.

Yep, there's not much you can do with special Mii's - they won't even mingle: when I tried to transfer my gold pants Mii to my console with Mingle enabled, the console crashed! Still, it's a good tutorial video on how to get your Mii data onto your PC, as the My Avatar Editor app is cool for exporting to .jpg/.png files. Also, you don't need GlovePIE to get your Mii data - just use the .bat files in the WDML folder.

Dude, this way is hard. Its realy easi if you have the homebrew channel. If your wii is clean then you exract the miis from your controller through bluetooth. Then use the mii pants editor(just google it) and select the gold pants and save your mii.If you have the hombrew channel on your wii you dont have to have bluetooth. you need to get a program called homebrew browser and launch it from the homebrew channel. there is a mii extracter. extract them and they are on the SD card. Pants away!!!!
