Before I even watched this, I never pictured Alan as type of guy that is worried about nice houses, money, or cars. Not that I know him personally or pretend that I do, but the way he speaks is totally professional. It's about his work and the satisfaction he gets from it, not about the materialistic things.

Thank you so much for posting ALL of these. Most of the movies I like of his--the ones I like best--are some of the unnoticed quality films out there. I definitely blame the pigs in the middle. Good show, Alan.

I agree. They are so manipulative, I'd love to hear what alan has to say about hbp delay because he wasn't speaking specifically of that there was he?

No, he wasn't speaking about HBP, he was speaking about the quality of the movies that get made in the first place.

He meant, for example, that Hollywood would rather make a mediocre sequel to an action movie than bother making quality small movies like "Little Miss Sunshine," because the priority is to make $, and even a bad sequel will be very profitable.
