2 wierd (flat) Kone escalators @ Schiphol airport P1 parking garage in Amsterdam

They are flat to facilitate people with luggage.

@asArsenic No, they are flat because there are bagage cars and bagage cars can't go on normal escalators, on these escalators the bagage cars "lock" themselves into the escalators and that's how they get up,if there are wheelchairs going on it they can fall off because they don't "lock".

@ricohallo22 I'm not really sure I see how they lock them in though I believe that my statement still stands. It definitely facilitates people with luggage.

People with luggage use the elevator.
