I think the best WEAPON of Manny against Cotto's defense is the Left uppercut. Manny must capitalized his speed when Cotto throws punches because Cotto seems slow to get back his defense when he throws punches.
what these people saying Pac is too fast for Cotto dont know boxing. you can neutralize Speed with jabs, and footwork. if Cotto comes prepared for this fight like he did for Mosley fight, Cotto can win. if he goes in thinking this is gonna be like Jennings or clottey, then PAc will win by decision. i dont see Pac having the power to K.O. Cotto like he did to hatton.

I dont take anything away from Pac, all I am saying is that there is only so much you can go up in weight and continue to as good. It happened to Tito Trinidad, he was a great Welter and up to 154 pounds, as soon as he started to fight 160 pounds plus he became nothing compare to the other boxer.

yep pacs speed is most definetly his advantage. but as we have seen in cotto vs mosley (not sayign pac and mosley have same speed but both are known for their speed) cotto is good at nullifying speed with his strong jab.
if they brought the fight down lower maybe to 142lbs pac would be too much for a drained cotto. however at 145lbs its only two pounds off a weight (147lbs) that he use to making.

Speed, combination and lateral movements are the key factors why pacquaio is very good at boxing. Now, hes mastering the Jeet Kune Do style and probably Pacquaio will use it for the first time to Cotto. That style is effective only if Pacquaio is very close to cotto like 1 foot. . His fists are close instead of open.
if mosley threw more he wuld be layin on the canvas cuz hed be open for cotto to land clean power shots i think he fought good and smart but cottowas beating him to the punch and take in consideration the he matched mosleys hand speed that night
