That's good to know, as this is a film screaming out for a DVD release. It's a wonder someone like the Criterion Collection hasn't tried to pick this one up, now THEY'D do it justice!! ;)

i live in herne bay and the peir is still there except it burn down and half is floating in the sea and we have a new one except thats being closed down

Fantastic to see the old pier It would be great if they could rebuild it but would get in my way when I am windsurfing the bay(small price to pay) where can i see this film? Stuart Blagden age 37 life long Herne Bay resident.
