@chuggaarocks If the message that says something like "Do you want to update you wii?" pops up and you click yes, then it most likely will......there's ways you can update your wii depending on which version you have once it's hacked, but it can take awhile and you have to be very careful. That's just one of the downsides of softmodding your wii

That actually looks 100x easier then the way I did it back a few years ago when the first homebrew channel came out. lol. Took me a few days and there was sooo much you had to do, not just put 2 files onto your SD card.

It's not illegal to hack your wii, fortunately! However, once you do hack it, NEVER SYSTEM UPDATE! because Nintendo will try and brick your wii (make it unusable, BREAK IT! D:)

However, you shouldn't do illegal things on it, such as pirate games, emulate games you don't own, tie up princesses and put them on railroad tracks, etc. (okay, the last one's kinda unrelated) But there are loads of other things you can do on it! It's totally worth it! :D
