  • ***VERY IMPORTANT***

For all who follow this video you are on the right track. I replaced my water pump using these videos and it was a life saver for me.

After I finished the engine the timing seemed to be off when trying to start.

Tore it down and checked the timing marks and they were correct..

Then I ***VERY IMPORTANT*** unplugged the cam sensor on the drivers side of the head, tried to start again with no luck, plugged sensor back in and BINGO.

DON'T FORGET TO RESET THE CAM SENSOR

  • @wazooavenue Is this for honda's too?

  • most newer cars you can't over tighten it... as tight as you can if you can tighten it with a 1/4 inch drive.

  • good demo

  • that foo looks like van dam

  • I would buy the Mechanical tensioner I've heard its great and better than the oe.

  • how do I know what is the right tension?

  • You've to check in a manual for your car, in my X20XEV engine it's 20NM, your's maybe different.

  • @singtung if it is tight its good if its not tight, tighten it
