This was a great video. I'm going to share it with my 5th grade students who are learning about plant and animal cells. I hope it will help them learn about the plant cell and hopefully inspire them to make their own video.
@Ishmum123456 Yeah, it can be pretty complicated at first.
One thing, did you download the old version (2.49b) or the new version (2.56a)? The new version is a little less complicated and has a better interface.
@Ishmum123456 I just found this tutorial, and though technically it's a video to teach you the differences between 2.49b and 2.5, it's also good for an introduction to the program overall.

Just a tip, since he doesn't mention it in the video - when selecting stuff, you use right-click.
I used Blender 3D, it's an amazing program (moreso since it's free.) The controls are a little confusing at first, but once you learn how to use it, it can produce some fantastic results.
you are great

@ukiuki551 We did leaf, onion, and cheek cells. The leaf cells were the best, the check cells didn't look like much.

Very nice graphics. How do you do it?
garonboi 5 months ago
@garonboi Thanks.
I used a 3D program called Blender. It's free but it can produce really good renders; this isn't even its best rendering.

Ishmum123456 11 months ago
@Ishmum123456 Yeah, when they switched from 2.49 to 2.50 they made a huge improvement in the interface. The old one was pretty wacky.
