  • you are great

  • im studying cells in 4rth grade and we looked real cells (but its an onion cells lol)

  • @ukiuki551 I did that too in 7th grade.

    -Max

  • @Maxo12110 oh nice what kind? animal or plant?

a leaf or a onion (onion looks weird when you look at the microscope)

    -Jim

  • @ukiuki551 We did leaf, onion, and cheek cells. The leaf cells were the best, the check cells didn't look like much.

    -Max

  • @Maxo12110 oh

    -Jim

  • This was a great video. I'm going to share it with my 5th grade students who are learning about plant and animal cells. I hope it will help them learn about the plant cell and hopefully inspire them to make their own video.

  • need to be more clear on naming but still good

  • u lot are frikin nerds

  • @carratty90 Absolutely 100% correct.

    :P

  • I AM SHOWING IT TO MY 7TH GRADE KIDS

  • That was some show!!!! I now can create my plant cell project for science. Thanks

  • Very nice graphics. How do you do it?

  • @garonboi Thanks.

I used a 3D program called Blender. It's free but it can produce really good renders; this isn't even its best rendering.

    -Max

  • thanks i listened to this a couple times and i got 100 on my test!!!!!

  • i dont understad it

  • @nobodymcg7 Thank you, I'm honored.

  • Dude Blender is soo complicated!! I don't even know where to start!!!

I am a software engineer, I don't even get how this works!!!

Can you tell me where to start or how 2 like export the vid?

  • @Ishmum123456 Yeah, it can be pretty complicated at first.

One thing, did you download the old version (2.49b) or the new version (2.56a)? The new version is a little less complicated and has a better interface.

    -Max

  • @Ishmum123456 I just found this tutorial, and though technically it's a video to teach you the differences between 2.49b and 2.5, it's also good for an introduction to the program overall.

    youtube.com/watch?v=jgOer_U9i_c

Just a tip, since he doesn't mention it in the video - when selecting stuff, you use right-click.

    -Max

  • Ah, wait, that link didn't work. Hmmm...

Just do a search for "Blender Tutorial - Introduction to Blender 2.5"

    -Max

  • THX!!!!

  • @Ishmum123456 No problem.

    -Max

  • @Maxo12110 thanks for telling me.

i am dlling 2.56 beta now-- seems to be better

lol the old one looked like I am programming a space ship firmware!!!

  • @Ishmum123456 Yeah, when they switched from 2.49 to 2.50 they made a huge improvement in the interface. The old one was pretty wacky.

    -Max

  • Hello dude excellent vid!!!

I was just wondering which software u used for the animation & 3d?

  • @Ishmum123456 Thank you! :)

I used Blender 3D, it's an amazing program (moreso since it's free.) The controls are a little confusing at first, but once you learn how to use it, it can produce some fantastic results.

    -Max

  • @maxifsx911 Thanks! :)

    -Max

  • That's soo cool! I learned about plant cells and Photosynthesis today! :) Wierd.

  • @BioniKyle Weird, what grade are you in? Maybe we're studying the same stuff at the same time.

    -Max

  • @Maxo12110 I'm in 9th and internet schooled. :)

  • @BioniKyle Ah, OK. NM then.

    -Max

  • @Maxo12110 Hey you dissapeared oh yeah and I was first.

  • I did something like this but mine was different.
