@wincipoet I'm jealous. :P I wanted to see it more than once but my oh so brilliant mother decided to go see him on the second to last performance in Norwich, and we couldn't get to the rest of the shows after that because they were too far away. I think I nearly died from sheer misery! :( he was awesome!
Just saw this in Glasgow tonight. He brought the house down. It really says something when people are on their feet before the final curtain call! Wonderful show. Lucy and Emma were superb too. Thanks so much for posting - it's great to have a recording of Marti singing this.

Not a scratch on the original Broadway production. Bill Kenwright has ruined the productions chances of ever transferring to the west end. Rest of the cast was brilliant but Marti Pellow was really the wrong choice for the role The role needs a younger lead who's voice has not been wrecked by years of misuse on the pop stage! Just got back in from seeing Jekyll & Hyde in Stoke-on-Trent and what can i say? This guy has still got it and a whole lot more. Absolutely brilliant and certainly the best money ever spent. I say bring back Marti xxxx :-))
