  • It's a good feeling to strike water. Especially out there in the desert.

  • Do you happen to know anything about how they dug wells in medieval times? I've heard about Dowsing Rods or Divining Rods, but I don't know for sure if that was the only way to find water. And after they found water, how did they clean it? If they could only dig, there's bound to be dirt in it. Did they just scoop and toss until the water was clean?

  • How far did you have to drill down? Did you do it by hand? or using a machine?

  • Actually we hit water at 20 feet. We started to drill with a Deeprock M50 rig and about 22 feet down the bit got stock and we could not either keep going nor retrieve it, so we decided to dig with our backhoe and, before we reached the bit, we found water. We weren't expecting it to be so shallow.

  • I am at the first stages of wanting to drill a well like your out in my front yard only to use for irrigation..I wonder how easy it woul dbe to do that? And the costs involved? Wonder how far I would have to go down to hit water?

  • Also where are you located at? I am located in San Diego, CA
