  • Salams, i'm learning arabic now and i was looking for some nursery rhymes for me to master the language fast. Pardon me for asking but isn't This pronounced as 'Haza'? Or is 'Heek' another slang of saying 'This'?

  • @rappermisha Great news that you're learning Arabic! Good luck with that :). Here's a translation but it's not word for word: This is the way fish swim / This is the way birds fly / This is the way the wheels turn / This is the way children clap / clap clap small hands / tomorrow early in the morning/ we'll pick some roses and jasmine / tralalalala...(repeat)

    Thanks for your comment, and in reference to it, you're right it is in slang but these Arabic Nursery Rhymes are meant to make the Arabic language appealing to young children so that they learn to love the Arabic language by engaging them in short rhythmic songs, preparing them to read Arabic books in the future. They are the baby's first introduction to the language, which will get them to learn some new vocabulary and simply enjoy listening to songs in their own language.
