My school does that as well x.x like, they tell you during the summer that you need a binder for each class (i never end up buying them i just buy one and stick everything into that one) and then you get to class and you need a CERTAIN kind of goggles for the science labs, and a SPECIFIC calculator for math, and various books for english. It is irritating.
