heyyy.. finally a ragdoll kitten that is behaving exactly like my Hailey.. any idea if it this irrational behaviour stops when they grow up?? my problem with Hailey is that she always starts to freak out like this at 2 a.m. :D
@SentimentalTune84 Hi there, all three of our Ragdoll boys do this (go mental, running around after eachother like their tails are on fire and play like mad). We love their crazy play & encourage them as it keeps them happy & entertained. They're 17 months and 13 months old now (a few months younger in the video) & these three won't grow out of being playful. From the age of 12 weeks, we taught them commands and rules like staying out of the kitchen & taught them bedtime, as you would a child
@SentimentalTune84 (Part 2). They have their own room in our house, which has some of their jungle gyms/cat scratch poles, litter trays, water fountain, beds etc, which they know once they're fed, they walk to for sleep and I close the door. I then let them out at 6am in the morning. It is a routine for them now and they hate any deviations from it. The key was starting it from an early age and with two cats and then three, they always had company so it was never an issue for them. Good luck :)
@Meghann25 Haha, yep he is completely insane, I was being "tongue in cheek" with the title :) This is Roman's true personality to the core and his brothers either rightfully stare at him as though he is insane or they run around after him at a great rate of knots, crashing into things and causing chaos whilst they do it. It's a lot of fun watching them play like that :)
@countrycajunfan1959 Thank you, I love our fur crazies :) Though I work from home, it's still so hard to pull myself away from them sometimes. There's always something going on, hehe :) At the moment, Ari the Blue Lynx Mitted has decided it's a lot of fun to try to lie down and get comfortable in a box that's miles too small for him. He's meowing at me to help him make it bigger, hahaha! We went through the same thing yesterday, but he's adamant its gona change today. Too cute!
