i installed direct x i have the latest driver but still direct x error i think this will solve your problem options / video / optimal video and audio and problem solved

@RobiticGamer difference is this, when you choose quality, it is high graphic settings, which uses more GPU memory, but when you choose performance, it is on low settings, and GPU uses less memory, so this problem for directx is this when GPU comer ''overloaded'' so you must choose performance ;)

@Thoregor try to uninstall drivers and download new one from nvidia web...i had similar problem with ATI, so I just reinstalled new drivers and worked...new control panels have these options...

@EarlyHardStyleR well i installed the new driver but i didn`t uninstall the old one (installed the new driver before seeing your reply) and i tried to find in the NVIDIA control panel the options i have to low down and i found only:3D settings-adjust image settings with preview-use my preference emphasizing-performance (low graphic quality)

and when i start the modern warfare 2 it gives me this error : Create2DTexture( ch_concretewall05_col,128,128,­0,827611204 ) failed: 8007000e = Ran out of memory , please help me to fix these problems

can anyone help me with nvidia control panel? i don`t find any hardware accelerator to untick and i don`t think i`ve setted all the options to minimum because i don`t find them.. anyone who can help me please? i did almost all steps except those nvidia control panel settings and now i have a new problem "the procedure entry point _except_handler4_common could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll",this appears at almost all programs i start and when the windows starts please help
