Yeah, you're missing a lot. The voice is from Ace Combat Zero, but the animation is from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's, the second season of the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha franchise. It fit real well because Lyrical Nanoha has been described as Mobile Suit battles with girls instead of robots, and in A's the enemy being fought are called Velkan Knights.
