  • if vermont wants out the obama empire, britain just has to escape the european reich

  • states have a legal right to cede according to state constitutions . there are reports online that some states have already ceded but that our mainstream media is not being allowed to report on it for national security reasons ......... but you can google " american secession movement " to read about all the details about it .

  • DC will never let it happen. Just look at the Civil War. The central government would have to fail before states could start seceding. If that happens it will get really ugly out there. I just hope if it does happen the USA will be too busy with the CSA and the Republic of Texas to bother with us over here in Cascadia.

  • good luck Vermont. We tried it down south and put up a hell of a fight, but it didn't end well

  • @slingblade1977

    Things change!

  • Oh my god... congratulations for Vermont!

  • besides Texas I think the Cascadia Movement Is the biggest. At Least 3k members of 4 different groups with essentially the same goal....Independence

  • @two0sixTay

The Lakotah independence movement is also fairly big and same with Alaska.

  • If the common bastards in Congress were not only interested in getting reelected, by doing the bidding of multinational corp., then we would not have these problems..I salute those in Vermont who realize what needs to transpire...As Jefferson states "I hope we shall crush it in it's birth the aristocracy of the monied corporations which dare already to challenge our govt. to a trial of strength"..Sadly though we have gone past that point to where our govt. is complicent in looting.

  • vermont aint going no'where, New york will absorb all 15 counties into greater New York state if thats the case. AIP are all traitors that deserve to be hung. DEATH 2 all tratiors

  • @BuBzIeNYNY fuck you.

  • @BuBzIeNYNY you troll'n there pal? If so, I can one up you. The traitors will be put in death camps. Every Friday night, a dozen or so of the rebel scum from those camps will be pulled out and be pitted in gladiatorial matches to the death. Rebel's with chainsaws versus genetically modified super polar bears, that kind of thing. Rome did the same thing. As the empire was collapsing (starving populace, border towns being sacked, et al) they still had games in the Colosseum. USA USA USA!

  • @zeus7623 na dude the average foot soldiger should be offered amnisty, but the officers should face trial for treason, that could mean summery execution, or imprisionment, whats the difference between traitors, germans who held american citizenship who were convicted of sabotage, or a american born jihadi, leave it to the courts

  • I say let vermont go.. let all these far lefties go to one side and the conservatives have the other... I can bet that it wouldnt be long the left will be borrowing money from the right because they cant afford to keep paying everyones way.. thats why welfare states never work. soon you run out of other people money and everyone loses.dont allow people to get used to getting everything for free. work for what you want.it gives you pride and makes you proud of what you have. stop entitlements.

  • Vermont and Alaska, where coming for you,

    From Canada.

  • @DragonballZUnited

There was never a "civil war," it was a war of pure imperialism against peaceful sovereign nations who simply removed self-declared hostile occupiers who were trying to reinforce military strongholds on sovereign territory..

  • Long Live Vermont Republic Fuck USA Criminals

  • Maybe it might be better to dissolve into a Map kinda like Eroupe BUT !!!! if we do that i would worry about CHina there Landmass is United and none of there states dares to leave the China Union

  • @Norg1 Maybe not but they see what we have here and slowly there being influenced into change. Although we are changing here a great deal as well.

  • Cede now!

  • @rufco18 No one's listening to you, little child.

  • @LP571 LMFAO! Then why are you replying? LMFAO! Asshole.

  • Wish the South would follow suit.

  • Applies for all countries. It is of utmost importance that the people get to know about the coming events that are definitely forming the society and our lifes.

The world monetary unification is one important step towards one world government and the ultimate dictatorship. Big things are going to be agreed upon in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire on 8-11 of April. Google "Bretton Woods" Soros!

What if the people started a protest camp in front of the meeting place in Bretton woods?

  • FOR the people in USA : YOUR goverment is CRAZY shitty SATAN's nest.

USA military presence EVERYWHERE is creating HATE for USA and for American people who have nothing to do with Satan followers.

  • Salvery issue aside; anyone else starting to think the South had it right in 1861 on throwing off the shackles of Federal power?

  • @dourtan The slavery issue during the Civil War became an issue BECAUSE of the war. The war started over States Rights. So yes, they did have it right. Slavery existed as much in the North as the South but the manufacturing industries in the US at the time were in the South. Therefore more working people and slaves resided there. The North didn't produce anything and needed the South for its continued existence. Now the US as a whole doesn't produce anything of value.

  • @Chinastar85 I'm with you on this one !

  • Smaller nations do better & have less corruption. They're more free too!

  • @xbones101 smaller countries have more corruption but on a WAY smaller scale...small bribes and payments. Large countries have less corruption but on a larger scale. My opinion at least.

  • Comment removed

  • DO IT FOR YOUR CHILDREN AND GRAND CHILDREN SO THEY WILL NOT HAVE TO LIVE IN DEBT BONDAGE THEY NEVER CAUSED.

  • Vermont pave the way for American freedom - Real Americans will help even if they live in other states. GO VERMONT THE ONLY HOME OF THE BRAVE LEFT.

Wake up America your prostitutes of the Federal reserve who selects their PIMP president to manage the Americant State tax prostitutes

  • @411American the secessionist movement in Vermont is very tiny. Most people could careless about them or aren't even aware that they exist.

  • If New Acadia thought they could have an inch of Canadian soil, they'd find themselves under the Maple Leaf pretty quickly! I don't know any Canadian who would stand for it!

Although maybe that's the best thing for them. Canada doesn't have those 4 issues that the Vermont secessionists are complaining about.

  • @katoom25 In schools today, children are taught that the Confederacy was evil because of slavery, but are not told that the Union also practiced it. I'm an anti-nationalist, to be sure, but even I would support a Second Confederacy!

  • @SAOS451316 Yes, people in the North are woefully ignorant about their own past because their schools have only taught them about the Confederacy.

  • Wow! Hope I live to see it.

  • Wow! Hope I live to see it.

  • It's time baby. Oh yeah. NO MORTGAGE! YAY!

  • Respond to this video... if Vermont leaves the union, ill move to Vermont. I'm a Confederate Rebel Soldier, the Confederacy shall be Restored. And soon america will be a country we can all be proud of again.

  • Respond to this video... if Vermont leaves the union, ill move to Vermont. I'm a Confederate Rebel Soldier, the Confederacy shall be Restored.us soon america will be a country we can all be proud of again.

  • Are you all just going to ignore the possibility of joining Canada?

  • @Coquipirate Canada sucks ass, don't waste your time. We are America light, and that is only because we have 1/10th your population. If your a socialist you might like it a little bit better then America, but it has more restrictions of personal freedom and economic freedom then the states do.

If you tabulate all the taxes we pay up here its probably more then 50% of a persons income.

  • @Hashishin13 1/10 MY population? I'm actualy Puerto Rican. I'm not sure what you were trying to aticulate, but I think the U.S. has more than 1/10th of Canada's population (the reverse of your statement might be true) I simply thought since Canada, like Vermont, is left leaning and since Vermont has a Canadian border, joining seems more practical than a Vermont Republic or "New Arcadia"

  • go ahead vermont. i dont see a problem with it. but i dont see how you will pay the federal bill your state owes the federal government

  • YAEH SECESSION for every single liberal state is the way to go!!! That is the way for usa to get better.

  • I live in Vermont and alot of people don't support breaking from the United States.

  • @AhuraWerewolf1 A lot of people thought the world was flat and the sun and moon orbited the earth, because the earth was thought to be the center of the universe.

People are often wrong and stupid in great numbers.

  • The USSR broke up so will the USA.

  • @TheWhiteBuster and so will your ass.

  • that girl at 0:41 is my hero

  • I am a Texan, and if Vermont wants to secede I would support them. The Federal Government has trampled on states rights for too long. Bring back the Old Republics I say!

God Bless Vermont, and God Bless Texas!

  • There is so much secession talk in so many states that it may be best to instead disenfranchise Washington D.C.

  • succession was tried before... US didn't like it too much...

  • @LJH08Ralith It goes much deeper than that !!! Know your true History and you will know States rights are the true meaning of the US and Lincoln was a tyrant not a hero and his motive was not to free slaves but to force the South to buy Northern goods and many other reasons....Slavery was a sideline of false truth.

  • @Back2Dixie ya i know... slavery was a minor issue... still my point is... if they try it again their libel to stop them again...

  • @LJH08Ralith Don't let the Fed intimidate you. That's why we're all in this mess to begin with.

  • @eandatoo agree... but when its 1 or 2 ppl and it gets forgotten after a week it doesn't do much good. lol Nov. will be interesting.. both parties are in for it i believe.

  • @LJH08Ralith but this is a different time plus the Confederacy did attack Union forts first which actually initiated the war itself

  • @LJH08Ralith - then if they can come and stop us they will , wont they

  • @brycejacksoncvt they'll try... their loosing their tax money from yal... lol... but hopefully if VT does maybe it wont be the last that stands up for itself.

  • @LJH08Ralith - they are ??? (loosing tax money)

It would be nice if there was more support in other states for the same cause to stand up for once self but that is a broad subject (supporting stanind up for ones self) .

Not gonna lie, if the US just said "we are coming in and wreckin you guys" .. we would prolli lose the battle ... but the few who survived would prolli tell a pretty incredible story lol

  • Perhaps the federal government is stealing the money... I can think of several reasons why the money that all of the states are giving, when combined, create advantages...i.e potential Military issues, CDC and federally funded technologies...I am no fan of the government, BELIEVE me. I just don't see it happening until things totally fall apart, and by then we won't have a choice. Before then, there is no way it'll happen peacefully. I am curious about it, and want to learn more.

  • Have at it. First, stop taking federal money. If these states do this, then we'll be having a conversation. Until then, it's simply a joke. Texas for example, takes more money from the federal government than any other state, other than California. Perry all the while babbling about seceding. It's not very convincing, and I certainly do not take him for anything other than a hypocrite. It's like my parents saying, "if I pay your rent under my roof, then you follow my rules."

  • @dannon2010 The "Federal Money" is stolen from the States to begin with.

  • I'm from the UK and I think the US states should be allowed to determine their own destiny. If states want to secede, they should be allowed to do so without unnecessary delay and debate.

  • @Hawnguy100. Mahalo!

  • @Hawnguy100. Yes. All that true. Considering the fact that there is no annexation treaty between Hawaii and the United States, us leaving the union is a special case is because there is no treaty that the U.S. owns Hawaii. That's why we need to educate our people. Especially the people in the U.S. mainland. Although for them, its much more harder to convince them since this fact to them maybe hard to believe and is not taught to them at all. But for Europens and Asians, they wound understand.

  • It's interesting that Vermont wants to secede because they are very liberal and don't want to be hamperd in their liberal lifestyle. Yet the southern states want to secede because many of the other states have gotten so liberal and they don't want any part of it. Whatever the reason for secession, I like it because it reduces the Fed. Gov. power, their too big for their britches.

  • @behindeverybush1 "The extent of our Union was so great, and its former divisions into distinct States so established, that we thought it better to federate as to foreign affairs only. Every Stater retained its self-government in domestic matters, as better qualified to direct them to the good and satisfaction of their citizen, than a general government so distant from its remoter citizens and so little familiar with the local peculiarities of the different parts."

    Jefferson, 1823

  • Let's face it, everyone must start to prep for the U.S. collapse.. The truth is Russia has been talking about this event since the 1980's...

  • @manny298 It happens to every country sooner or later. When a country gets so corrupt and intrusive that it breaks from inside. This was a great country till the super rich fuked it all up. I personally think we peaked after world war 2 around the 1950's we have been in decline ever since.

  • @eduardomjan1973 i disagree, america was being screwed well before that

  • The US government is nothing more than a kleptocracy. A zionist controlled international organized crime syndicate. Decent men should want no part of it. Those who serve it are thugs. Those who pay taxes to it are slaves. Those who wave its flag are morons. Secession will free you from it.

  • @vanguarder spot on point bro

  • A few Southern governers from certain Souther states want to secede.. I agree. This country has gone down the toilet. Let the secceeders succeed.

  • @dixiewife47 The United States has never been a country. We are a federation of states, a union. Each state is a free, sovereign and independent nation that joined and created a Union, with a Constitution that limits the federal government's role.

  • @brainerdrebel unfortunately the federal government forgot about that and stomps on the constitution whenever they want

  • Free Vermont! - Feds Out!

  • Vermont was never a recognised republic but it sure as hell sounds good lol

    Free Vermont

    Free Texas

    Free Alaska

    Free the South

  • Makemake 'o Hawaii e ku'e mai Amelika aka no na'e pa'akiki no ho'i no ka mea the U.S. doesn't want to give up pearl harbor and other military stations in Hawaii and alot of people in Hawaii don't know how we could break away and survive because our state is majority imports when it comes to food. and on the top I said Hawaii wants to resist america but it's really hard because....

  • @maikakeaumoe. You do have kind of a point. But do you know that before we became part of the United States, we had our own resources that supported ourselfs and our islands without any help from elseware? We even had electricity before the White House! lol! Suger and pineapple was our main source of our economy. All the money from it transformed Hawaii into the most modern nation of the Pacific. Before the 1890's, we had electric lines and telephones. I'm sure we could support ourselfs again.

  • U.S. out of Vermont!

  • Vermont when you seperate, you are welcome in Canada. Please do join us, we would love to have you as provence of Canada

  • @team1200 Well speaking as a Texan. We like canadian people but Canada Federal Government is just as corrupt as the United States government. If you guys decided to desolve your Federal government and form individual states I say well why not. Our federal government has grown too intrusive that is why people are thinking about leaving. We need to return back to the constitution.

  • @eduardomjan1973

Well, our Prime minsiter, is getting close to being corrupt, but he will be voted out of office very soon, and even so, the US government is more corrupt then the Canadian government, the US government has many secrets, and many hidden tax spendings. However in most cases, the government of Canada, will be forced to present a budget, and what there spending our tax money on. I think once we get rid of Harper, Canada will get back on track

  • @eduardomjan1973 alot of people dont realize that we were suppose to hae always had indiidual states...youd think the state boundaries and goerments would be a clue, but most people hae long ago considered the collectie states a single country...when and why they did that, i hae no idea, but it sucks...what also sucks is that somewhere down the line, people decided the goerment was the master and the people were the serants.. goerment should be a serant of the people, not be our masters

  • will secession protect us from martial law or any violations of our civil and human rights? if so im all for it.

  • @Sinfull702x602 yes it will. The states are upset because the federal government has grown too intrusive. We pay 50% of our wages in taxes but we get little to nothing out of it. Patriot laws are unconstitutional, The rich have hijacked our country and the states want to take it back even if it means secession.

  • @eduardomjan1973 tight. if it has to be done then like i said im for it.

  • @eduardomjan1973 what really has made prisoners of us is the peoples stupidity and ignorance.. they get the people to fall into pits and lose theyr rights by talking about being patriotic and giing a bunch of propaganda and brainwashing...it has no effect on sensable people, but the stupid swallow it like a big oersized box of chicken wings

  • From the future Kingdom of Hawaii, greetings to you! Hawaii also wants to secede from the U.S. as well. I'm not sure about your reasons of why you want to leave the U.S. But our reasons (Hawaii) is not the corruption of U.S., or its economy, but the reason is because WE NEED TO STOP LIVING A LIE!

We, the Hawaiian people, DID NOT ask part of the United States, we were forced. Because the U.S. OVERTHREW OUR GOVERNMENT ILLEGALLY!!

  • @DeltaEagle7700 Don't worry, my friend. The way things are going now, it won't be long before you have the opportunity to break free of America's Imperialistic iron grip! As a fellow Monarchist, I wish you God's Blessings :)

  • @mdallion446. Thank you! I hope so. Because when the statehood elections took place in 1959, they took away the option for independence.

  • @mdallion446. One of the only ways we can achieve independence is to let the world know what Hawaii actually is. (An independent national kingdom under U.S. colonial occupation). Not from what it is told or seen offically.

  • @DeltaEagle7700 My mother is a teacher at the local high school, so I can start with her; I make no promises as to whether or not she'll listen (she does teach this sort of thing on a regular basis after all!) but I believe it to be a greater crime to do absolutely NOTHING when there is a chance, no matter how slim, something may come of it. Keep Faith! :)

  • @mdallion446. Always!

  • @DeltaEagle7700 I truly believe it and I feel for you hawaiin's. I do not think Vermont and Hawaii are going to be the only states trying to secede.

  • @usmchutch. Thank you! Although for Hawaii's case, it will be a tough nut to get independence from the U.S. Because the U.S millitary will loose its idel base: Pearl Harbor. See in Hawaii's case, Pearl Harbor, much less Hawaii itself is in an idel position in the Pacific. Pearl Harbor is considered a "gas station" for American ships.

  • @DeltaEagle7700 It will be tough for any state to do so. I think it would be a good situation for hawaii to secede and make the federal government pay Hawaii to keep its base there if it so wishes. I hope Hawaii is the first state to lead in secession because not being a part of the continental United States will make it easier. What is to stop Hawaiians from receiving all federal funding and electing its own government? How bad would that make the feds look if they attacked Hawaii for doing so!

  • @DeltaEagle7700 And if this scenario ever rang true I would sincerely believe other states would follow Hawaii's lead and we can start trading and doing business with each other as independent republics.

  • @usmchutch. Hmm. Yeah.

  • @usmchutch last time I checked there are 22 states thinking about secession Texas is on that list as well. Arizona is on top of that list along with vermont. It will only take one state to secede the others will follow. I personally think we were better off when each state was its own republic but worked as a group for the good of the Union. So if you didn't like one state you could just move. Each state governed itself differently and each state had its on militias

  • @eduardomjan1973 the union was intended to hae ery limited power oer us, in fact, it was only created to help organize trade between the states, and keep peace between states and defend american borders from foreign bastards.. we dont hae to scrap the whole idea, just scrap the current bs we call the fed, and start oer and put things back where they should be

  • @usmchutch Just imagine if we got rid of the imperialist mentality that we now have and we had citizen militias. Every man and woman between ages 18-45 was required to own a Rifle and know how to shoot it. We do away with our army and marines the only professional soilders would be the navy and airforce and to be used for defensive purposes only. All that tax money we pay would go back to the people. That is what switzerland does and they are very wealthy for it. no one invades them.

  • @eduardomjan1973 i dont think anyone should be required to own a rifle, and i dont want to disband the army.. just shrink it and get rid of the ridiculous bases all oer the world...if we kept a powerful army here, and only used it when they should be used, wed hae alot of friends and respect around the world...but as is, theres no respect abroad or at home

  • How many people realize that this was during the Bush years? The states wanted to secede then, but where were the Olbermann's, Maddows, etc preaching in the media that this was treason? I'm sure they got all wet in their panties at the thought of someone leaving Bush's America, but never mentioned it. But now that Obama is on the throne, it's a different tune. They demonize anyone who is against Obama and call them traitors, racists. All the ultra libs. What hypocrisy.

  • im going to move to the free state of vt

  • @NJSERB - and you will be welcome here , so long as you bring peace love understanding and acceptance with you

  • Interesting. 13% want to secede. That is a significant statistic. Makes me wonder which side I would join in Civil War II. lol!

  • @gungnir2357 if 13% of the united states wants to secede from the union. We have about 300 million citizens 13% of that is 40 million people that is plenty if everyone voted for secession it could be done, but every single person who was for secession would have to vote. The next thing is those 40 million people would have to arm themselves to enforce the decision, because the corrupt officials would want to strike us all down.

  • @eduardomjan1973 and what if we dont get the ote? seems like were trying to win what we already hae... kind of like applying for a gun permit...or arguing the obious with my gf.. well i hope if people eer decide to leae this shit goerment, they wont take no for an answer

  • Pure racism is the basis of this so called movement. Realistically how can a backwater place like Vermont survive by itself? We get a black President and suddenly these people want to secede from the Union.

  • @chairde

this has been going on since dubya was in office, dont use obama , black or prejudicedness as an excuse , especially when racism is inborn and perfectly natural.

  • @SpringChatty

Racism is never natural it is learned by children from their parents. Besides the Civil War decided all of this many years ago. No state in the union will ever be allowed to secede from the United States of America. That is treason and I believe that people should hang for treason.

  • @chairde

Then start hanging the USELESS govt cuz they are GUILTY OF TREASON AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES and nobody gives a fuck what they think about the states seceding and YES THEY SHOULD. DC sucks shit

  • @chairde "Racism is never natural it is learned by children from their parents"

Wow, that really sounds good so it must be true.

  • @chairde That's a foolish statement on your part. 44% of white people voted for Obama, compared to only 2% of blacks for McCain. Now who's racist? I will agree with you on one part, and that is I don't see how VT can survive on its own either. The problem isn't that Obama is black (and half if you want to be technical), it's that people don't agree with his socialist views.

  • @SpecialAgentG

You have no idea what Socialism is. Please name anything that President Obama has done that is "Socialist" in nature. By anyone's measure President Obama is a centrist. Oh by the way, Social Security was a socialist idea that was adopted by this country.

  • @chairde Oh let's see....government takeover of car companies, banks, insurance companies, health care, etc. I'm sorry you fail to see that and want even more government control of your life. Let's not forget his famous "redistribution of wealth" speech.

  • @SpecialAgentG

Name one car company that is owned and operated by the US government! No banks were taken over unless they were failing and it was to protect the clients from losing money. Failing banks have ALWAYS been rescued by the government. Ronald Regan was famous for that ,by the way, with the Savings and Loans bailout of banks. Was Ronald Regan a socialist???? Health care insurance is still paid for by the client and run by companies like Aetna. Is Aetna a socialist company?

  • @chairde Wow you are a hard headed Lib aren't you? And a blind one. Tell me where the government gets off on taking over GM, firing their CEO and then telling them how to run their business? Plus, you obviously don't read the news as GM used TARP funds to pay off the bailout fund, thus still in debt to the government, which still has a say-so on how they conduct business.

  • @chairde As far as health insurance goes, you obviously haven't read the bill. The government can decide what insurance is adequate for YOU, not YOU being free to choose what you'd like to have. If you don't have insurance, you will be fined or jailed or both until you do. We're all going to be paying higher taxes to fund this bill (no new taxes on those making $250k or less my ass!) for the next four years before anyone sees a benefit. It's sad that we are not as free as we used to be

  • @chairde Now, since we're talking about government takeover, I have a better idea. Tell these companies that they will no longer be bailed out by the government with OUR taxpayer money, and you'd see how quickly they would right their own ships and do business a lot better to stay afloat.

  • The idea that states can leave the Union & become independent nations again is a crazy pipe-dream.

  • its the rockefellers and rothschilds.....jevvish bankers! isrealis are just like us....ovvned by huge corporate and banking interest....they re trying to keep free to!they sick of vvhat the elites are doin vvith thier military too!!!!!!

  • "None are more hopelessly than those who falsely believe they are Free."

  • @williamhcarney States can secede, nothing in the constitution says they can't.

  • Keep reading. The United States Supreme Court passed this as well.

  • No staes cannot secede from the Union. It's in the U.S. Constitution.

  • CAN AND WILL

    viva Louisiana

  • That's not true. The Constitution is at best very vague about states leaving the Union. There is nothing that specifically says that states must stay.

  • Could States really Secede from the Union ?

  • don't listen to WilliamHCarney , the basterds lying, it aint in the constitution. the states can seceed, i can tell you that for a fact.

  • @RedneckHunter81

Oh My God, I didn't know any of this. That the states can actually secede means either we have another Civil war which would be a Direct contradiction to the US Constitution that does allow the states to Secede from the Union. or we allow the States to pull out and leav who ever is left in the Union with the National Debt Worry.

The root of all of this is the Weight of the Interest being paid on the National Debt.

  • @Roadracer987654321 the root is the Federal Reserve and vvall st!

  • The people of Cascadia support the people of Vermont's right to secede from the Union.

In case you never heard of is, Cascadia comprises of the state of Washington, Oregon, part of Northern California and maybe British Columbia, Canada. Google both "Cascadia" and "Secession".

  • yeah, i never heard of the alliance but it does sound really cool.

LA can support itself because aside form the fact of we did in the past we still can. we have great farm land. Obviously america does not give a damn about us and we saw that from katrina. they just want our resources those damned bastards.

  • Fuck communism , fuck world governtments and not the fuck it does not take precedence over MY CONSTITUTION !! I hate other nations and world govts as much as my own govt. Drug head fucking whores to do this to good people in a good nation. Fuck you all you fucktarded useless god damned govts.

  • Free the South, and bring back the greatest of ALL countries, The Confederate States of America!!!

  • oh no we louisianian are not with confederate. we will return to our Creole ways.. but i do agree with leaving america.

  • I can see Louisiana go its own way. You guys probably deserve independence after what had happened in 2005 with Katrina. So you can count me in favor for the Creole nation.

Greetings from the future Republic of Cascadia!

  • Damned straight!

  • That will never happen so you should just cut your wrist now. It's been put in the Constitution that staes cannot secede from the union anymore. The Union won that war. Greta job men in Blue. Wish I was there for it.

  • you show me exactly where it says you can't seceed, until then, your just anohter one of the dumb basterds like obama that cant do a damn thing right. ive been pressing for arkansas secession, and will till the day it happens, so fuck off.

  • @WilliamHCarney You do realize that the Civil War was about 150 years ago don't you? America was a different place and different situations played a hand in that. Things are different now and the United States is now under control of a corporatist military/industrial regime. Unlike during Lincoln's day. And don't forget all empires have collapsed and United States IS an empire. The United States is not infallible.

  • Vermot should use its economic leverage to pressure the USA for concessions. Withhold maple syrup, withhold organic milk and cheese, boot the NY yuppies out of their comfortable country living, boycott Newhart! Power to the yankees!

  • the union could give a shit about you. Are you a blooming idiot ? You like being bossed around by a tyrant government that takes your money to fight illegal wars u need to read up and then you would understand why they want out. Yea bring your gun into another country and get your dumb ass shot kid.

  • I pray to God that one day this happens. I will be among the first to then step foot into Vermont armed and with hostile intentions. Traitors! The Union forever!

  • @megajackspratt on the contrary, you are among the thousands of traitors. You are the people who decided it was a good idea to vote the biggest dumbass George W. Bush to 2 terms, not one but TWO, and keep soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan and having them killed for your damn amusement. The United States claims to be the greatest country in the world, it ain't. I am for the LEGAL secession of the South, and the rebirth of the Confederacy. When this happens, you stay out of the South.

  • My eMail to Ohio Gov. Strickland: Thousands of us out here want Ohio to secede from the Union. Politicians, Wall Street,Banks, and the Cartel that is The Federal Reserve, line their pockets at our expense, create new poor every day, take our homes, and threaten us with jail if we don't pay an ILLEGAL personal Federal Income Tax! We are tired of illegal taxation, threats, and cutting back at home while Government grows FATTER every day! Revolution is coming Governor. We're fed up with TRAITORS!

  • It is time to partition the States, let Barry and the Jokers have their Union of Socialist States (USSA)

Let us have our original Constitutional Republic, before it is too late.

  • I noticed they stated that between 13% and 18% are in favor, but yet the idea is much larger in South Carolina at last poll taken it was setting at around 20% for that State.

  • Very Left leaning state?

Even Yankee media tries to slander them!

  • Free VT!

  • States rights and secession is inevitable. Most states will break away as the American Empire crumbles over the next 100 years. Its known as national self-determination.

  • free West Virginia

  • Interesting to see Vermont and several southen states do too....

  • IS IT TIME?! Go to USRevolution2 (dot com) and get your flag of the Second American Revolution. Theyre made in America and look exactly like the flag of Betsy Ross with a Roman numeral II in the center of the 13 stars. This flag is now in all 50 states and spreading from porch to porch. They make great gifts for family, friends and recovering Liberals.

  • If you think about it, Nothing is forever. I once talked to a person who compared the United states to the Roman Empire, enough said.

  • Whats wrong with Rome? For it's time it was unbeliveably enlightened. It spread its ideals throughout the world. This lead to the spread of knowledge which also led directly to the creation of the United States. Like Rome or not you live as you do now because of Rome, Britain and the United States. You should be happy we follow the ideology of Athens and not that of some other Greek city states I can think of

  • Oh, no, i wasn't trying to say Rome or Athens were horrible, what i meant was that even the greatest of nations fall (sorry for the misconception, my comment before was to broad.) Just the way i see it is people are growing more and more displeased with the government, and with the infrastructure failing, as well as all the debt we've amassed, who knows, this is a turbulent time, know one knows what the future holds.

  • Oh Okay. I think that the US will eventually fall but not for at least another century

  • Why should any People on God's green Earth be denied Liberty and Self Determination?

For the sake of our Children, we must be Free of the Federal Beast!

    Secession now, Freedom forever!

  • I agree if Vermont wants to return to being a republic again it is their right. I support my own state Texas secession movement too. It's time for change and a return to real freedom and liberty.
