The Chesisre Conn.cops had an opportunity to intercept the wife and one of the killers at the bank.That was the only chance they had.The Chesire police are completely incompetent and also partly responsible for their inaction ,not only at the bank but at the home also.They could have taken down one of only two killers before he got back to the house.A 50 % reduction in force !! The other killer might have surrendered when he realized he was alone !! What ignorant and horrible police !

Thats not what happened at all. My sister was played basketball with hayley (the oldest) when my sister was a freshman and hayley was a junior. Mrs petit and the youngest daughter were grocery shoppin at stop and shop where one of the killers saw her get into her car and saw they had nice cars and followed them home and planned the murder later at night.
