In any case, they made her a princess and guardian of the Sol Emeralds; that helped to set the stage for when she goes to the present of Sonic's zone and meet him there again, or rather for the first time in Sonic Rush.
I can imagine Eggman wacthing them fight and beatboxing to this beat

@WildManToons Remember, at the end of Sonic 06 it ERASES itself. Meaning that anything that happened in 06 IS NOT CANNON. NEVER HAPPENED.
