Well you'd have to actually look this up cuz I haven't but I've heard from quite a few people that Alucard was actually in a book a loooong time ago and he was actually Dracula (as in hellsing) and this is where the idea for Hellsing manga originally came from. But like I said it's just what I've heard from several different people.

Actually hellsing's Alucard came before the Alucard from castlevania, you can look it up. I like hellsing and castlevania so idc, just setting people straight on the facts.

Jeez, to those that thought this was hellsing's alucard must be pretty darn ignorant. Just by looking at the vid or graphics you would know they're different. this was the "first" Alucard aside from the film. Meaning the alucard here is the son of Dracula (as originally) and Alucard from Hellsing is Dracula himself. Get it right god dammit.

You've got it all wrong. Alucard and Death would never fight. they would be more likely to get together and have a glass of wine while discussing riveting matters such as cats and the behavior of humans.

Alucard was a lot weaker during his unlife as Dracula. The majority of his power was amassed during his time with Hellsing, although it was once implied he'd have become infinitely more powerful without their interference.

The answer is pretty obvious anyways, Hellsing's Alucard is fucking Immortal! he can't be killed. that's already a pretty damn fucking good advantage over, well, every fictional characters ever created that are not invincible like he is.

So yes, I prefer Castlevania's Alucard, I prefer Castlevania's Dracula, but Hellsing's Alucard is, well, Godmode. nobody can win against him.

@irregularzero Alucard isn't immortal.He's only very,VERY durable.There is no such thing as immortality even Alucard says it.No known weapon has put Alucard's "life" in danger,but that's not to say there isn't one.Van Hellsing somehow pwnd Alucard using unknown methods.

@alastorbg Yes I've watched both versions of the anime and heard all about the manga.That Celeste will become true undead,that Walter will fuck over the Hellsing organization,and Alucard will gain an interesting new power.But all the same immortality is an illusion.I'm still not sure what exactly Van Hellsing did to Alucard though

Certainly, Castlevania Alucard is just a character for a game, you arent meant to get a good long storyline, just a bunch of gameplay action. Hellsing Alucard on the other hand is entirely story and it shows aswell, he is so complex as a story character
